We had a beautiful black cat, Nefertiti, who was in for a checkup at the vet and simply dropped dead. Healthy cats just don't do that. Every one at the clinic was absolutely stunned. We only had her 5 years. I am sorry about your kitty.

We had to put down a 18 year old cat, she was battling hyperthyroidism, failing kidneys and cystitis. She only weight 2,5kg from her usual 6kg. When she was youngster she had one friend whom she cuddled but the friend got run over years and years ago. After we buried her next to her friend I laser cut something to remind them. It's at the powder coating at the moment

This image always makes me cry. I love my Cleo so much, she tries to get me to bed on time, she makes sure I am up on time, when I jump in the shower she lays by where the steam comes out for a steambath, she gives me a hug before I leave, and greets me when I get home.
I saved her from freezing to death on my doorstep when I found her and it is hard to picture my life without her. However I know that her time will eventually come and all I can do is make her happy till then.

I love that little spot of white on his neck. My best friend’s cat in college had a little white spot just like that on his neck. His full name was “Reverend Roy G. Big”, Roy for short. He used to play fetch.
He’s long gone now. Been a decade plus already. Just wanted you to know that my cat’s out there waiting for yours to show her around, make sure she’s not too lonely. They’ll meet us when we get there.
