There is a Pat Tillman run this Saturday in Tempe, Arizona, and they say absolutely positively no bags, so I bought a beer helmet.

Many hats don't fit me, so I searched for an XL beer helmet.
Of course, I couldn't find anything, so I asked here if anyone knew where I could find one, and nobody tried to help, so I ordered a one-size-fits-most-women-and-children one and an actual helmet, planning on transferring everything, and walking 4.2 miles (6.8km) with two water bottles on my head.
My wife's coworker did Pat's Run before and laughed saying people wear uniforms and carry all kinds of backpacks.
It sounds like I can carry my 51-pound (23kg) training rucksack after all.
So, I return the helmets? :)

Id keep it and use it. Never know if they'll actually allow it. Places get twitchy about backpacks. Security risk in large crowds and all that.

Do they make mention of how he called the Iraq war "f*cking illegal" and how the Bush Administration lied about how he died from friendly fire?
