Trump is demonstrating their idea that the more wealthy and powerful you become, the more "liberties" you are allowed. That's part of their power structure. Pass tons of laws to repress the masses, then find loyalists to promote snd give them more privilage to abuse the law, others, etc. They want folks constantly backstabbing each other to try to climb their way from under the table where the dogs eat each other.
