I’m back from my vacation to Japan and figured you all could use another double dose to make up for the lost mini dumps. The trip itself was incredible and I can’t wait for my next opportunity to go back!

#10 Context here, he was trying to get his hook out of the shark. He THOUGHT he lost his pinky because he heard a pop. They put a tourniquet on him and he drove them 25 minutes back to shore, where he was life flighted to a hospital for surgery.

#3 Thought I'd strayed into an @AlphaStructural post for a moment. That's a lot of fresh concrete in the wrong place.

Yes, I was thinking he was needed there…

My first thought, also.

at first I thought it was a boat pulling away from the dock

Welcome back! And I do hope #15 got arrested.

#16 I'm having a really bad day but this made me laugh. Thank you

#12 So why the fuck was the leash just trailing on the floor while she was walking into an elevator again? It's only through pure luck that something a lot more tragic didn't happen.

9 months ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

Looks like she has the leash attached to her waist so some of the leash would be trailing unless the dog is pulling also not all leashes are retractable. But yeah this is a dangerous leash.

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 12

Looks completely on the ground to me from here.

9 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Ooof, that's even worse then.

9 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Stupid negligence, shouldn't have a dog.

#18 PSA for anyone that doesn't know, pressurised cans of spray paint have a security device to stop you from stealing the ball bearing. /s

9 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I've only found glass marbles inside. Who is putting ball bearings in their cans?

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've only "got into" really old cans of duplicolor so I guess 30 years ago they had BBs.... also years ago found one that had like a reject misshapen nut.

8 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I really want to know what they thought the outcome of this would be.

These places have markers on the walls before you go in, telling you how much vertical clearance the parking garage has. I'm guessing this guy ignored it or didn't check how high the truck rode. The number of people who think rules don't apply to them, or who think warnings are merely overreaching suggestions, is staggering.

I saw the Grinch.

Yeah, I was going for "...Green Goblin's origin story"

#10 Holy shit!

9 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

#8 looks like it's unwise to have an entrance with higher clearance than your installations...

9 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Yeah and I'm not seeing a clearance warning sign of any kind that usually hangs down at the front of the entrance either...

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Look again.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ooooh you're right so this was 100% on them.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It looks like they knocked up one of those swinging height warning signs when they drove in.

9 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Thanks, I did not see that. Well, then my judgement goes to "if people have no clue which surroundings are important for their next action, ... "

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're right — good eye!

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

#16 one I can relate to and doesn’t make me fear for someone’s life

9 months ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

That one honestly drove me a little bit nuts. He's got a belt on! Why is he not using the belt that he's wearing to keep his shorts up!?
But it was nice not seeing anyone get hurt there.

9 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

My only thought is that his belt is too big for he waist. He might have it as tight as possible, but it's still too loose

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He lifted his arms to carry the flowers, that made his waist slightly trimmer, and the belt wasn't that tight to hold the pants up.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Did he get to keep his finger, I wonder.

9 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I looked it up, he didn't lose his pinky. He "got" his pinky but didn't rip it off

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Sauce?gif

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes I'm pretty sure the shark got to keep the finger

Sharks like finger food.

#9 "gets me from a to b."

9 months ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Just a little bit more for the blue spark speed boost.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I need to know what was going on with that car. The road didn't look icy

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tokyo Drifting

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What happened I don't know. What is, is a bended rear wheel axle. The left rear tire is always turning right forcing the back of the car to drift.

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

My guess is they're trying to get away from an accident they caused, so likely either impaired or driving without/on a suspended license.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It needs its tires realigned.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#10 It's my pinky now

9 months ago | Likes 190 Dislikes 1

Valid to eat fingers

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

We eat chicken fingers, but judge sharks.

9 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

A chicken would eat my finger if it got the chance. I have lots of them, they would not hesitate they would devour any thing they could.

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

If you're going to do this get them out of the water by the tail where they have no control, get your goddamn kids away, have an adult to help pin it, have pliers ready and gloves. If you don't meet these conditions it's not worth the video or the missing digits.

9 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Ya I was expecting that kid dangling his foot to lose a leg

9 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

#1 is odd. Bc they turned his engine on. Usually you can only do that if your gear is in neutral or maybe your clutch is in making you neutral. Guy didn't have his hand on the clutch, so hus buddy thought he had his gear in neutral. He thought he could rev his buddy's engine wo it going then it took off bc bike was in gear. I don't know how this guy got his engine going and not moving while in gear.

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Yeah, this one is bugging me

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Might be a Yamaha MT-09 with the optional automatic transmission. Rides more like an electric motorcycle, just twist the throttle and go.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#9 This guy is the best drifter I've even seen

9 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Help me understand what's happening. Asking for a friend.

9 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Some dude is commenting that he is impressed with the driving skill of a guy who is fleeing the scene of an accident.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A collision or other massive structural damage borked the alignment of the axle, but the driver is still sending it. Rear wheels are being dragged sideways

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I think the rear driver's side wheel is just dead locked up (maybe hit there and bent out of shape so it won't turn?) and it's just dragging that corner along.

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This kills the car.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

#1 , can someone explain how this happened?
Looks like the victim is in neutral, both hands away from the controls...why does twisting the throttle send the bike on its way?

9 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

It looks to me like the guy to his right reaches over and revs the accelerator.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Right, but if the bike was idling but not moving and the rider had both hands away from the bars, he wasn't holding the clutch in, it was in neutral, right?? So how did gunning it launch it?

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well . . . . since all I know about motorcycles is that
they go "vroom–vroom" I'm unable to offer a hypothesis at this time ;)

9 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

But yet you did

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

A company like Rekluse Clutch makes a kit that allows a motorcycle to have both manual & centrifugal clutch. Basically lets you stop & start without having to pull the clutch lever. With the kit, once in gear, if you don't keep holding the clutch lever, if the engine hits the preset clutch rpm engagement, it grabs & you go. So it reduces the chance of you stalling the engine if you only had a manual clutch. But someone didn't know & turned his throttle while it was still in gear at the light.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I actually know exactly what happened. The guy in the far side was doing a “prank” where you tap someones bike into first gear to stall it. He did that and put it back into neutral, restarted the bike and went to do it again. at the same moment, the guy with the camera went to playfully rev the bike and didn’t notice the other guy trying to stall it by hitting it into first. First gear, big revs=big unexpected launch. It was 2 very poorly timed pranks.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

maybe an automatic clutch motorcycle? those are more popular with sport bikes because they shift faster, and you can take off quicker from a stop, but if you give it the beans it engages and takes off.

9 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

What the actual fuck? These things actually exist...wow. After all this time motorcycle owners (as opposed to riders) continue to surprise me with their dumb fuck mods.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Never Heard of those, interesting. I only ever drove japanese cruisers from the 90s

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That seems to be a good answer, thanks!
My last, and most modern, bike was an 87 BMW...I'm not remotely in the know anymore

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My CVT maxi scooter could have done the same.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#19 Did you get the paint I sent you for? ..yeah, it's in the car.

9 months ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

That car is totaled . . . right?

9 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Depends on the age and value of the car. Could be an interior strip/replace job but that's just a guess.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Totally totaled.

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I mean I have hard time imagining the paint would affect how the car starts amd runs. It's at least a functional beater.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know anything about cars, but i wouldn't bet on that. I can imagine a whole bunch of ways that this could make the car nonfunctional. And many more ways or could make the car not safely drivable

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't imagine any of those ways are actually plausible. Damage to the interior of a car doesn't kill what's under the hood.

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#8 For those of you who have never smelled fire sprinkler water that's been sitting in iron pipes for 20 or so years...count yourselves lucky. The only way to describe it is "unholy"

9 months ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Aren't you supposed to pay to have it flushed every so often?

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This water *revives* vampires, got it.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

My work building had the line in the attic burst last winter and black sludge water pooled up there to trickle down through the walls to pool in the basement.

9 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

#5 oh shit

9 months ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

I don't even know what the dude was swimming for. It's like he waited for the other guy to leave so he could do it, but for what purpose? What did he think he was doing? It's very confusing

9 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Is that’s what’s in the “pool”?

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The truck says "RESIDENTIAL WASTE." So I assume it is septic waste.

9 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Residual*

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd guess that it's used motor oil. It looks like a garage for big-rigs and that's probably their holding pit until it can be disposed of properly.

9 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That’s what I had guessed as well, but I thought that maybe they were those trucks that clean porta potties!

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 months ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 2

WHOA!! WHY would they run into FIRE??!!

9 months ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

For tick, flea, etc parasite removal is my understanding. Could be wrong though, my web search failed to find zoo or college articles

9 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

In nature, they do that to burn off ticks and parasites.

9 months ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Because they all yearn to return to hell.

9 months ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

There's a reason the Devil is portrayed as hoofed.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That guy hitting all those cars, is that intentional or is he just the worst driver ever

9 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I'm assuming prodigious quantities of alcohol are involved.

9 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

It's a kid. A completely drunk kid with mental health issues.

9 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Triple bad driving whammy

9 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My first thought was, "six-year-old found mommy's car keys"

9 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It's probably drugs/alcohol + a mental health episode.

9 months ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Looks like a drunk driver trying to get away

9 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Could be drunk

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I don't know what's stupider. The design of that parking strip, the people who actually chose to park there, or the guy hitting EVERY SINGLE car on the way out.

9 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Well hold up those cars parked there in the lane left plenty of room for a car not driven by a psycho, let's be honest

9 months ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

I think anything designed for use with things that should really be treated as weapons more than toys should really take ABSOLUTE IDIOTS AND PSYCHOS into account. The design of that parking strip also means that when you come out of your parking spot you're forced to go 1 direction for what looks to be a decently long time. I would not trust the majority of drivers to be able to turn around in that single lane runway without hitting anything.

9 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4
