Because it’s one of the hardest things to “fix.” And to provide a really simple synopsis, the foolish monk doesn’t know he’s foolish. The master knows he himself is a foolish monk. Yes. There are parts you can change about yourself. But the key one is knowing/being aware of your own flaws and idiosyncrasies and for the most part coming to terms with them. Not necessarily changing them.
Fixing yourself is a skill you have to learn and fine tune over a long period of time… much like your skills when it comes to fixing things. Learn one thing about yourself that makes you happy and one that makes you sad and note how each emotion made you feel in the moment and afterwards.
then let others who know how to fix things, try to help you. therapy, friends to talk to, etc.. there is alot out there, all you need to do is allow someone "in" and allow yourself to express your issues
With money that unfortunately doesn't exist. We all have high hopes. I'm working on it, but unless some random rich person offers to just pay my rent and bills for the next year or twenty, it literally isn't feasible.
I kinda started doing that, especially after i got hit with a massive medical issue. Over time I started seeing more and more doctors, got diagnosed with Medical PTSD because the nightmare of medical stuff started for me when I was like 9. And after a while I learned its find to just exist. So I chose to exist, sure, it was out of spite of everything I have been going through, but existing, can sometimes be enough.
