On the other hand, I had a friend who was MAGA-friendly before his stroke. After his stroke, he mellowed out a great deal. Unfortunately, only a few years went by before his next stroke, which he did not survive. As if fate wanted to finish a job half done, his bereaved SO, who missed him terribly after he died, passed away herself about a year later.

In order for the bobble head to be correct to fetterman, you’d have to hollow out its skull and replace it with cave troll thoughts and money from his owners.

Hasan? A guy that electrocutes his dog??? Wow

6 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wonder what the trumplikkkans came up with on john fetterman.

1 hour ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fetterman is an example of what happens to your brain after a stroke. Republican Party is the party of diminished intellect.

15 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hasan Diddly piker is cancer.

3 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fetterman pulled a bait and switch on everybody.

God bur I hate Hassan equally. How about both are bad. Hassan is not our guy.

Tankies, I hate those guys

The Democrat party can not win being Republican-lite or "At least we're not Republicans" period. We need to be actual progressives, putting forward actual progressive policy. Yes, we don't have to advertise as if we're trying to pick up every fringe group that exists, but we DO need policy that is going to advance this country, even if the rich and powerful don't fund you because they don't like the message you're putting forth.

I would vote for a brick at this point if it was the top polling candidate that wasn’t with Trump.

Fetterman is with Trump. It ain’t him.

10 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ironic, isn't it? Fetterman's path was paved by people that wanted anyone but Doc Oz - both for being a quack, and for being a Trump puppet - and in 2 years, he's probably going to get primaried for the same reason.

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is a trend, and a problem, globally: "Left" or "Liberal" parties constantly moving to the right to try to win over voters who will never vote for them while just assuming their actual base will vote for them regardless of changed policies "because we are owed the votes from them".

That exact strategy burned Kamala, who mocked anti-Israel protestors during her campaign.

14 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Trying to find news about that mocking, not trivial. Can you link to something, please?

5 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Somehow it's "common wisdom" that you have to chase the middle ground to appeal to everyone, yet no one's stopped to scratch their head that extreme conservatism is doing so well while centrism keeps stumbling.
Democrats can't win by being worse than Republicans at being conservative, but they'll throw themselves in a grave before acknowledging that progressivism is even an option.

14 hours ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I feel like the average progressive is out of touch with how government actually works, and that this is why they keep shooting the foot off of Democracy. And I wish they would prove me wrong, but they never do.

12 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

There is nothing about the structure of the US government that is currently incompatible with progressive reform.
There are hurdles, yes. Campaign financing advancing corporate and foreign interests over constituency concerns, media monopolies brainwashing the average idiot, and the sheer fact that the Overton window is so far to the right that the very notion of improving things can barely enter the conversation certainly doesn't make it easy.
It's definitely not impossible or out of touch.

9 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There isn’t a strategy beyond parroting “vote blue no matter who.” This way you can have liberals bitch and moan about the left “purity testing” candidates instead of offering nothing but 1980s republicans.

After suffering through 8 years of Dems capitulating to Reps. during Obama’s tenure, where their explicitly stated goal was to prevent him from passing ANYTHING, the only reason I have voted Democrat since is to cancel a Republican’s vote out.

7 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hasan Piker and John Fetterman have a lot in common, they both hate democrats and refuse to support them. Piker has a much larger audience, and when he told them not to vote for Kamala they listened. He also shares a talent agency with Asmongold, the largest right-wing streamer. That explains a lot, as Asmongold also relentlessly creates anti-Democrat propaganda. Basically, none of these people have a place in left-leaning politics and they all need to go away.

22 hours ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 23

lol i found the fbi agent

21 hours ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 8

The entire Leftist movement is being funded by AIPAC, so I guess I found the Mossad Agent right?

20 hours ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 14

lol you moron

16 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 7

Most of what you said is just simply not true.

21 hours ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 5

It's all true, you can't even refute a single point.

20 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 12

Hasan is against democrats that get their money from the country that is currently committing a genocide. He literally went and suported like 8 democrafts that were not aipac funded. Asmondgold is the most unserious person ever to talk about politics. Its not even worth talking about him because you can count his IQ on one hand.

13 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Asmongold uses a dead rat as an alarm clock and has a wall covered in tooth blood

12 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fetterman needs another heart attack to hopefully switch him back

22 hours ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 4

It wasn't a heart attack. It was a warning bell... telling him to sellout quick because he health issues will likely shorten his life. Hopefully.

4 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately that isn't how it works, the more brain damage someone suffers, the more right-wing they become.

I'm not even being snarky, either, that's actually how it works. Liberal/progressive political thinking requires higher brain function that conservative positions do not.

22 hours ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

The stroke didn't make him that way, he already was. He lied and ran as a DINO, to get in and vote republican as soon as he won.

22 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

I was just about to ask if he ran under false pretenses.

16 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He had a few pet issues that were progressive enough that he got a pass. Just so happens that the rest of his interests are conservative - just like most of the Old Guard in the Democrat party.
Thing is, now that he realizes he signed up for the party with absolutely no power to do anything he *does* care about, he's not even pretending to have a drop of loyalty to anyone responsible for him having the seat to begin with.

14 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fetterman needs to be fucking gone ASAP. His constituents need to protest him daily, and primary him at next election.

22 hours ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 3

It’s quite unfortunate that there is no mechanism to recall congress-members who clearly lied to get elected or atleast none that I know of.

15 hours ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

I understand the sentiment, but remember that any mechanism can just as easily be used against your interests as well. The main mechanisms modern democracies have is limited terms and new elections. We want leaders who represent us, but we also want leaders who feel confident enough to lead and make unpopular decisions, even if not aligning with their constituents, for the guaranteed time they are in office. Not a perfect system.

9 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This is more common in the US though because most other democracies wouldn't have made him pick between such diametrically opposed sides to begin with. If you think gays shouldn't be allowed to marry *and* that blowing up brown kids is bad, you have to chose *one of those two things* to have represented in our current structure because those two things are stances of two opposing parties. At least elsewhere you get 4-10 options of weasels and one is a bit more tailored to you.

4 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is like the 4th time this happens since the 00s, isn't it? I still think Sinema got elected only because she had "woke hair color" and nobody actually bothered figure out she was republican plant before the election.

14 hours ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

there is the option of the expulsion of a senator, but it requires a 2/3 vote, and ironically, the conservatives would all vote to keep him.. this situation sucks entirely..
that said, we're still not certain he lied to get in, so much as was brain damaged... it's absurd sounding, but, at the very least, the argument would make it even harder to prove intent to deceive...
(expulsion has happened 15 times, 14 of which were due to the civil war and once before that for corruption)

14 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

to expand on the second point, I'm not saying I'm certain one way or the other, other people seem to talk like he was only progressive in a few certain things but otherwise not? I dunno, I've not followed him much at all.. I guess my question would be, on the things that he was progressive about, did he change his stance on those as well?
but in reality, that wouldn't prove anything as it still becomes a question of deceit, or brain damage..
regardless, he absolutely needs to go

14 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I meant for the voters of the state to remove them. I’m more than aware how useless congress is. As for Fetterman, he was largely elected because the other option was Dr. Oz. Which honestly still seems like a worse option but atleast then he would have an R beside his name and the press wouldn’t be able to say it’s a “bipartisan” bill when he signs onto it.

8 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

hasan piker would literally be a better rep. than everyone but three reps, total, lol

22 hours ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 12

Let me guess. Ro Khanna, Summer Lee, and Ilhan Omar?

16 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

at the time i was thinking bernie, tlaib and omar, but honestly there are a handful more - i have a tendency to be a little hyperbolic when it comes to expressing my contempt for the democratic party and the institutions that sustain it. its a weakness of mine, but especially on somewhere like imgur that just has so many psychotic libs, it's difficult to rein it in.

16 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Eh, I'm not a huge fan. His daily videos are usually pretty bland takes on current events and shitty reaction content. He doesn't really bring any new or interesting leftist ideas and as far as I'm aware does almost zero organising or praxis. Calling him a "champagne socialist" isn't inaccurate.

If you want to follow a leftist internet personality, there are dozens of other much better candidates. Robert Evans and Dr Fatima are two of my strong recommendations for actual thoughtful content.

13 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

His body is pleasing to look at though.

11 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I dunno if I'd go that far. From what I've seen he's like the lefty Joe Rogan, and that is not a compliment.

22 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 14

truthfully i dont think you've seen enough of him

22 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

i dont have like, a best hits or clips or whatever, but i mean seriously, watch some of this and tell me he compares to joe rogan https://youtu.be/wUdfBmGm0to?t=537

22 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

I mean, if you define "The lefty version of a Right winger" to be the exact polar opposite, then yeah, Hasan is the Lefty Joe Rogain... He's intelligent, eloquent, hard working, goes out of his way to learn about any given situation, develops the morally correct opinion on that subject and actively rejects getting audience captured. Completely the opposite to Joe Rogain...

19 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

haha yeah ok ill take that definition

16 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What makes you say that? I've watched his streams and his only talent seems to be making edgy, untrue statements and rage farming for donations.

22 hours ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 19

You’ve made several posts slagging him. He’s the only one with a platform of his size I’ve seen using it to spotlight political candidates, specifically left ones. I’ve never seen his streams before the Iran War started, but since I’ve started tuning in, I’ve seen several candidates come onto his streams.

The only other live streamers I’ve seen have candidates on were the dregs having Donald Trump on. It’s clearly you’re biased against Hasan for shitting on Democrats. I do that, too. They suck.

14 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

i dont really have like a bet hits compilation or anything to show you, but watch idk 30-60 seconds of this? he's a very thoughtful person https://youtu.be/wUdfBmGm0to?t=537

22 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

He literally says nothing specific at all, just super vague platitudes. Does this really work on you? I'd be ashamed to be taken in by superficial charm like that. You could just as easily be swayed by Donald Trump and therefore you can't be trusted.

20 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 7

if you think those are platitudes, you are beyond redemption, intellectually. eat your bugs and enjoy your civil war, you fat american pig

16 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 5

Really? What is wrong with you?

10 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

hes actually a leftist and he has a coherent moral understanding of the degeneracy of america. literally none of your politicians are anything other than corrupt to the bone. yes, this includes the democrats

22 hours ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

Hasan is one of the few people on the planet who gives Pedo in Chief’s narcissism a run for its money.

13 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

A millionaire living in a Beverly Hills mansion, grew up with two rich elite families in a genocidal state, who shits on Democrats all day because he doesn't want to pay taxes. That's your "Leftist" lol... Lemme guess, his uncle Cenk is the most pro-union business owner too right?

20 hours ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 8

This, all of this, is exactly why I don't like politics. I don't like the drama, I don't need the screaming people talking about other people's drama. Just tell me we have gestapos and concentration camps in our country and I will vote against them.

What is all of this noise going to accomplish?

22 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 20

Well, historically speaking, voting doesn’t undo gestapo and/or concentration camps. You can’t vote the boot off your neck.

22 hours ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Absolutely untrue... Germany has had democracy ever since the Nazis were removed from power. Israel and the US could both sway away from Fascism in a single election. Even South Korea has a brush with Fascism and voted their way out of it. Saying edgy things for their own sake doesn't automatically make them true.

22 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 18

Do you uh, know how the Nazis were removed from power?

12 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What does that have to do with anything? Dude was saying it's impossible to vote when fascism is around. Don't blame me if you can't read. Funny how you guys can't even speak to the other examples I gave lol...

1 hour ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And the Nazis were not removed from power by vote. The opposite is true. They were put into power by vote. There was this thing called WW2 that finally removed them from power. https://media4.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1c2JsaDE2anljemtpOHU1bmdzMjVtcXMxaTBwd3J2ZjJmNjVpNjl1YSZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/83QtfwKWdmSEo/200w.webp

22 hours ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

That wasn't his point and you know it. Saying that voting is hopeless with the midterms only months away is suicidal idiocy. Might as well give Trump is third term on a silver platter, just like you guys did with his second because you couldn't support Kamala.

20 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

Oh damn, I must have missed that part of history where Hitler was voted out of office… Shit, my bad… SaYiNg EdGy ThInGs FoR tHeIr OwN sAkE dOeSn’T aUtOmAtIcAlLy MaKe ThEm TrUe.

22 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

So I guess Germany still has the Gestapo right? Your point wasn't that Hitler was voted out, you moron. It was that you can't vote in the presence of Fascism. Move the goalpost like your hero Hasan.
