I mean, that depends on the size of the box. One of those giant family size boxes? Sure. Yeah. One of those itty bitty standard boxes? Shit. A box of that is dinner.
UPDATE: I’m forming CARE (Cheerio Abuse Resistance and Education). If I can prevent just one young person from making the mistakes I made, then what a waste of my time that would be!
I once ate an entire box... Over the course of a day... With protein shake/milk, because that was all I had to eat at the time, with no problems. What happens when you eat 2/3 of a box dry in one sitting?
Contrary to many comments hers, I have not been to the can yet! No need to go. The powerful effects were auditory - to the point where some in neighboring apartments might have mistaken the sounds for a semi-truck in the parking lot.
In the Middle Ages during winter some cultures would use fruit juice (typically apple) because they wouldn't have access to milk. I've tried it once, it kind of works for grain based cereals, though might be too much for the sugar based ones.

Kagenical
Next time try washing your cereal down with an entire jar of olives.
eromitlab
You certainly won't regret it.
ScootinNtootin
If that upsets your stomach, stay away from saltines and green tea. You wouldn't be able to handle it.
LostChats
I think it had more to do with all the fiber that would be coming out a bit later.
RummageSaleBubbler
Back in my day--before shrinkflation--this would have been concerning.
itdweeb
At least it wasn't Bran Chex. Arguably the best Chex, they do work as advertised.

Smashaga
You certainly won't regret eating 30-40 olives.
Mostlydeadpool
next time you decide to eat half a pound of cheese in one sitting, remember... you should not eat half a pound of cheese in one sitting.
MoonAmericanFloydHeywoodR
I hate cheese so I’m in the clear on that on.
UncleRat
I have never seen them in a box, only in a bag. And you can eat a large bag with almost no shame.
duktayp
I can eat 50 eggs
MoonAmericanFloydHeywoodR
Fly eggs maybe.
FeloniousMonk13
No man can eat 50 eggs

Oh dear, with that many Cheerios eaten, I should checked to be sure my kids hadn’t been shrunken… Oh wait - I don’t have any kids! Whew.
thepeenisbehindthetrenchcoat
Not anymore, anyway!

But also bloating and abdominal discomfort.

Next time, use a bag of haribo sugar-free gummy bears. Much more effective.

Jeez man, were you trying weed for the first time??

Stopping is another matter.

I also prefer cereal dry. The milk dulls the flavor.

K so, 1/2 box is the limit
sekanna
Sounds like you can go to 65%
MeowWoof
Nah, if 66% is "write a meme about how bad it is and post it on imgur" bad, you gotta figure the safe stopping point can't be more than 55%
sekanna
Fair, however they didn't say 3/5 so can we agree on 59%?
CheesecakePi
I was gonna say 3/5s.
RadioFloyd
That’s a good compromise.

Hmm now does that make you shit violently, or not at all?
Targe0
That will depend on how hydrated you are.
And you best hope the answer is well hydrated.
MoonAmericanFloydHeywoodR
So far, not at all. But “all quiet on the southern front” will not last forever.
vnqx
Probably depends on the type of cheerios
MoonAmericanFloydHeywoodR
Just plain. No honey nut for me.
