They spent years crapping on minorities to disrespect, demoralize, disenfranchise them. Now minorities have Kamala to rally behind. Trump's side is quickly trying to tone things down. But, you can't do that without your current supporters feeling like you're turning your back on them while trying to win over the folks they joined you to crap on.
Same with women voters.
In other words....
Did you ever get hyped when you heard your fave game, book, movie or tv series was coming out with a new thing? But then you heard news it was being changed to try to cater to a new audience? And, the changes made you go "ew", so you knew those changes would alienate the current fan base? The thing eventually rolls out, struggles to get the new demographic it was going for, and just pissed off the old demographic. And, sometimes that thing never recovers from a blow like that.
Still plan on voting, though. Vote in numbers so high it sends a clear message.

Initially, I thought they should have stuck with Biden. Traditionally (keyword), the incumbent has the better chance of winning, so Biden running for 2nd term put his chances good. But, when he stepped down, and Kamala stepped up, I realized that was better. Trump campaign had race about "two white guys vying for white votes", and they had Trump as "alpha male" vs Biden "old and weak". Now, compared to Kamala, Trump stands out as the old, racist, mysoginistic, weak person.

Yep. I am not from the USA, so can't vote, and am only an outsider looking in, but she does seem to breathe fresh life into the campaign. I truly hope she wins, and can be the President you guys deserve.
