We took our dogs to stay in an air bnb on Hindmarsh Island. Our house had its own little jetty out on the inland estuary. Our youngest Ridgeback was probably about 1 and hadn't seen water before. She just trotted off the side of the jetty and stepped onto the water, expecting it to be solid. Spaloosh! In she went, luckily they're natural swimmers and she swam straight back to the bank. A bit surprised but unbothered. Was funny to watch.
