#2 As a kid growing up, we had an indoor-outdoor cat that opened the front door to the house from the outside by climbing over the top of the screen door (it was old and warped at the top) and jumping down onto the thumb latch.
After a couple of years we moved to another part of the country with storm doors, so she watched and learned how to ring the doorbell by hanging off the storm knob and booping it with her nose to get someone to let her back in.
