My First Protest! No Kings in TEXAS OF ALL PLACES!!

Finally took the plunge and joined my first protest and it felt great! Everyone was so welcoming and supportive! (Lesson learned: Next time, bring a bigger sign!)

Even Aunt Tifa herself was there! :) (The aunt I wish I had!)

Had to leave a little early, but got a chance to do a drive by and honk.

Apologies for the speedy video. Was in a rush to post and the quick slow-mo filters just didn't look as good. haha

Didn't really see any counter protesters though a few did drive by and give us the bird. haha

But I gotta admit it was really awesome to see such an incredibly diverse group of folks out sharing their love for country and democracy. And again, IN TEXAS OF ALL PLACES! (And this was just like one of quite a few protests going on around the major metroplex.)

And the other beautiful thing about it was just how much love was there. I mean, don't get me wrong, we're all angry. No kings. No Trump! But like, versus something you'd see at like a MAGA rally, this group is just so peaceful and loving. Even when somebody might drive by and give us the bird, we were all like "We still love you too! And we're doing this FOR YOU!" It was very uplifting and gave me hope. If you're able, I'd definitely encourage you to join a protest as well!
