I was blocking people out of anger but now I’m done with that. Now I’m keeping them around to show them how disappointed I am. Can never look at family and friends the same anymore. They chose the possibility of cheaper gas and groceries over the rights of my daughter, wife and other loved ones in my life.

politics

and the gas and groceries will be getting more expensive. surely not *MY* face!?

The thing the elderly that voted Trump fundamentally fail to understand is that once their support in winning elections is no longer required because there are no more elections, well that's when they cease to provide any value to their masters and are only an economic drain. Good luck!

But it won’t be cheaper that’s what’s going to be insane to watch them blame Biden somehow. Mass deportations and Tariffs=insane food prices, crazy food prices means more expensive restaurant prices or places closing because they just can’t charge $25 for chicken parm to even out the food costs. The food industry is going to take a massive hit if that happens. I’m already looking at other fields. And putting Tarfifs on everything only jacks prices up across the board they way he describes

Oh I started the unfriending process already. I’m done with trying to reason with morons

Nobody is allowed to give you money! That's Communism!

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Agreed. And not just because you're one of my favorite games of all time.

They watched for 4 years as that thing rambled incoherently about every stupid ass thought it had pop into its ganglia and still decided to vote for it. They deserve nothing.

'thots and players'

Okay you made me chuckle

Call them out on socialism and tell them to pick themselves up by their bootstraps. Watch them remove their fundraiser, work and fail, cry more, become single, and die alone malnourished and starved with no one loving them.

"They chose the possibility of cheaper gas and groceries" And they are wrong about that too. The market and economy does better under democratic administrations.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Music to my ears for the next four years. Every single one of those stories. I am going to need music while I work.

They chose the *empty promises of the possibility of cheaper gas and groceries from a known pathological liar*

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

"I'd love to pitch in but some absolute retards elected a man incapable of being in charge of our economy so I need every fucking penny I can get my hands on just to survive this shitshow.. Best of luck!"

I’ve I have actually thought of saying already to people

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's nicer than the 'go fuck yourself' my reaction is.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"What, did you run out of bootstraps?"

You were supposed to lick not eat

What, no, neither, pull yourself up by.

Don't be sorry.

These people deserve sympathy because they are still people, HOWEVER, they need to EARN it. Forgiveness without contrition isn't forgiveness, it's acceptance, and what they did was unacceptable.

These people must suffer the consequences of their actions, and only deserve help when they have learned their lesson and truly cast off their failures to become better humans. Until then, I wouldn't taco bell diarrhea shit on them if they were on fire and needed me to extinguish it.

Nah. v

Offer them a pair of bootstraps

They’re all grifters now.

pulled out of the drive thru this afternoon and literally had a random guy wearing a trump t-shirt with a maga cap ask me for a ride ten miles or so away.

thoughts and prayers fuckboy.

Sorry but that’s socialism

"you need money? Go ask Trump."

My Mother in law was all over our family group text after the election shouting how everything was going to be sunshine and rainbows. THE NEXT DAY she posts a gofundme asking for help so she can keep living her expensive lifestyle. SMH.

Wait till social security gets massively cut...

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I know and this is the best part... she's 60. Two years away from being able to benefit from what she's paid into her whole working life.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And she'll still believe it's the Democrats fault.

1 year ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

They're on their own. Not helping. You voted for this, reap what you sow.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Alas they know and believe daughters, wives and other females have no rights as dictated by Timothy 2:12 in the Buybull. That's how religion poisons everything.

I drive for FedEx. One of my regular customers is an elderly couple, one in a wheelchair. Both seemed decent. I always backed all the way down the driveway so their packages would be somewhere they could easily take them inside. Saw a huge "God, Guns, and Trump" flag there today. Their shit is going to be delivered to their mailbox from now on. Fucking trash.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And the gas and groceries won't be cheaper.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

They probably think he's going to tell inflation to go on and git! Shoo you pesky inflation!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wonder if they will blame trump or still blame Biden

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well they didn't blame Trump while he was in office, or while he wasn't, for anything.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Cause their guy can’t do no wrong

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I honestly am dreading when they cut social security and Medicare and all those boomers will have to go back to the workplace in their 70s or try to move in with their kids or they'll just die off as they won't be able to afford healthcare snd their prescriptions. I'm already helping my mother in law clean up her resume as she just retired 2 years ago but doesn't have a huge savings

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

While my parents aren't in the worst shape for savings, my mother's retirement lasted less than a year before she took on part time jobs due to a combination of going stir-crazy with my dad and wanting some extra money for things.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People are living longer than ever and also need to budget in case they have to go into an assisted living facility later which is also crazy expensive. My husband and I are self employed and pay $1,600 a month for health insurance not including dental or vision. We are young and healthy thank goodness but yeah older people are going to run through their savings pretty quick

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dad ended up on disability retirement. Well regular retirement now given he's 73. If my dad dies first, my mom can currently completely take care of herself. If my mom dies first, I'm not sure about my dad. At the very least, he's going to need a driver to get to places.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My retirement plan has been and always will be, a bullet. Suprised I've lasted this long to be honest.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well just don't bite the bullet before it's your time friend

Thing is, crowdfunding is entirely within right-wing philosophy. The left-wing way is forced crowd-funding through taxes. The choice versus force is THE defining distinction between the economic policies of the two sides.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 64

doesnt make it any less hypocritical to beg your buddies and community and the internet at large for money you wont pay back while screaming "NO FREE RIDES" at everyone you dont like

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

so the right would rather choose who lives and dies rather than saving everyone equally. sounds like a death panel.

1 year ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 1

Yes, but not death panel by a central committee. Rather, death panel by simply not collecting enough sympathy from enough random regular people.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 29

well, if it comes down to it you won't have my sympathy, or I doubt many others by the looks of it. if only there was another option where you didn't need it

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

I never said anything about my opinion on how economy should be. It is interesting how, because I defend a thing from unreasonable arguments, people assume I must side with that thing in general. I very much don't. I'm from Norway, and even here I consider myself to be quite left-leaning. I just think correctness is important.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 13

I think my parents would agree; they want to hand-pick their causes because they don't want their money going to certain people. You know, the ones that reasonable governments might help, like the impoverished and sick and asylum seekers...

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What you actually mean is that conservatives are completely okay with hypocrisy. They love corporate socialism (see PPP loan forgiveness - good, but student loan forgiveness - bad).

Conservatives love to claim fiscal responsibility, but then vote for Trump who added nearly 8 trillion to the national debt.

They claim small government/states rights, but absolutely hope to achieve a national abortion ban.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

US "conservatives" aren't true right-wingers, and you have just brought evidence that says as much. Remember that politics is larger than just the US. I stand by what I said.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

So where are the “true right wingers” that exemplify the standard of conservatism?

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

There isn't a single ideology that is exemplified perfectly in the real world. Yet we still have these notions because they are useful constructs to use as springboards to discuss politics.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 7

The right-wing way is also forced crowd-funding through taxes, just only from those that don't have a lot to give.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Not really. Not true right-wing ideology.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 13

Sorry, which specific right-wing ideology are you referring to here? Feel free to use some jargon and expect that I have a decent understanding of various ideologies across the spectrum.

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I realize there are several of them, and they have their nuances. But if you're going to contrast left versus right economic ideologies, I still stand by what I said: If your economic ideology favors a central government that pools together money from the population, then that's a left-leaning ideology. If your ideology favors personal choice in what money is used for, it is right-leaning. This means, as I said in my first comment, that crowdfunding in no way goes against right-wing ideas.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

So you’re saying we should give immigrants the choice to leave the country rather than forcing them? Or better yet, give women the choice to do what they want with their bodies instead of forcing them?

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I never said anything about immigration or abortion. I said money and taxes. The left ideology is you pay taxes to the government, and the government pools the money and spends it to help where they think the help is most needed. The right ideology is that you keep your money and use it however you see fit, including helping people if you feel like it.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Yeah but you see where your argument sort of falls apart? We let the filthy rich keep their wealth and the only thing they do with it is… keep hoarding it. No matter who is in power, left or right, we all have to pay taxes. The difference between left and right is left wants the filthy rich to pay more while the right puts that burden on middle class and poor, giving the rich tax cuts.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

You seem to think I'm talking about US politics. I am not. The so-called "right side" in US politics doesn't follow true right-side economic ideals.
