Donald Trump gave Iran until 8 PM Tuesday to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or he will destroy its bridges and power plants, and when asked if he was concerned about 93 million civilians losing electricity, he said no, they want us to do it.

That is a war crime threat from a president whose war has dragged on beyond the four weeks he promised. As Trump threatens to violate the rules of war abroad, his administration keeps ignoring courts and laws at home. A judge ruled in March that Kennedy's hand-picked vaccine advisors were "distinctly unqualified" under the CDC panel's own charter. Kennedy's response was to rewrite the charter. In Florida, wildlife police have been conducting warrantless surveillance across thousands of cameras on behalf of ICE.

This administration has been defying the rules since day one. Now it is preparing to shatter the Geneva Conventions by tomorrow night. Call your representatives through Resistbot and 5 Calls and demand they use the power the Constitution gives them to stop this president before the bombs fall.

So, anyone who makes public any military intelligence should be punished? Let's talk about hegseth leaking military operation plans on public chat

Thank you, George

The horrors persist and so does the evil that enacts them. Thanks for your service @GeorgeBounacos .

Donut!

Hell, yeah. A couple of years ago on vacation, my wife and I saw a scrawny fox in the parking area behind a restaurant. She sacrificed her leftovers for a good cause. :)

I always wonder if I'm harming them with some weird spice or something when I do it so I'll strip the bread and meat for them and maybe not hand over the ridiculous appetizer.

2. congress would have to approve the war for any "military commitments" to be activated

4 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

We also have no treaties that are activated based on aggression, only mutual defense. None of our allies are obligated to help us, and none really should. In my personal opinion, best thing they could be doing is figuring out how to stop us before we start world war 3 to cover up the Epstien files and 'protect Isreal'

4 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

1 thing I noticed about the whole vaccine nonsense with them is, they want to make everyone else in the world be sick to it while they walk with immunity to it all. On top of that they are ever closer to finding how to stop aging of our cells, thus increasing our life span tenfold. So they must be preventing that from being used by everyone. This way they can live forever and control the world with human slaves that make them more and more profit, while completely forgetting if we die, all gone.

3 He dismisses war crimes concerns? You don't judge what is a crime or not, you orange dipshit!

Are we sure? Teflon Trump can't get anything but shit to stick...

Thank you for this daily summery, though I usually need to check out kitten and other animal posts after reading it, just to keep my sanity. Every time I think it can't get worse... I can't even go through all the bat poop craziness to comment on them specifically when all are so horrible.

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You're very welcome. Several kind people have followed FastPaws' early idea to post comments with great animal images and vids. Highly recommending scanning these comments for them daily.

The outrage from every American should be palpable!! Why isn't it palpable!!?? https://media0.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1Z2JwODM2OXFrYXFtenVndW5rbDZ2cTAwd2s0aGJ3NndlN3JjYnhsZCZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/0bWq2F4ERM3hf29auy/200w.webp

My guess is because America is a nation where being out for yourselves is the highest ideal and a full third of it actually openly supports the worst shit imaginable.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, there's never been a protest culture, and in my states, there are zero worker protections, while your healthcare is tied to your job.

Trump doesn't realise that his admonishment of us (Australians) is actually complimentary

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think it’s a good thing to be hated by him…. It means you’re doing something right.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But you see, if we are talking about the war, we aren't talking about how he's in the Epstein files.

Opens Imgur…checks notifications…’ah, another GovBrief… let’s see what’s different today… damn, he’s still alive.’ Thanks George for your continued dedication to this stream of information, a beacon of truth in a sea of lies… Without, the darkness would be near complete. Keep up the fight and, everyone else, pull together towards the common goals.

There were some high hopes this weekend but alas...they must have pumped him with some nice drugs cause he's back full of energy and hate

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it!

One day all of George's headlines will just be the same two words. One day.

I would include a feature on what people wore to celebrate and maybe a little sidebar on the different vintages that were uncorked.

Man I wish the UN had any power whatsoever.

Does anyone remember when the Republicans were saying they didn't want a woman president, because they "knew" she'd get us in a war within months, because she'd be emotionally unstable? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

4 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think it was Jordan Klepper who once asked a conservative, "Hasn't every American war been started by a man?"

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well of course! Men aren't emotional and they get us into wars! Just imagine how many more wars an emotional woman would get us into! /s

A federal agent's "sworn account" it's high-time we get rid of these "better than your eyewitness account" types of accounts. It's been Proven. (With a CAPITAL P) that agents, cops, ICE, whathaveyou, will sooner LIE and protect themselves than HONOR their authority and be truthful. A sworn account of an agent is worth less than the air they breathe out.

Go read today's. They shot a guy in Northern California who, wait for it, was going to run them over.

On that Iran war it is very interesting that several countries have already talked to Iran and got their approval to have their ships traverse the strait of hormuz.

It is therefore interesting that Trump screams for them to reopen the strait of hormuz when the US and friends simply have to pay the toll charge to pay for the damage done to Iran

Stop dropping bombs would be damned helpful because then it is war over.

4 days ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 1

Israel won't stop, and Iran knows where all of Israel's bombs are coming from. So no, that won't cut it. I still think USA should stop bombing, that would be the right thing to do, but it won't have the effect of reopening the strait for USA, and its allies.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It would be hilarious if this was fictional, if it wasn't causing so much suffering.

4 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

There are 3 players that get to determine when the war is over. USA, Israel and Iran. USA and Israel could stop, they could negotiate a ceasefire, but Iran doesn't trust any deal like that because previous negotiations were used as a cover for surprise attacks. Israel has violated every single ceasefire it has agreed to in recent conflicts, so why would Iran give up its leverage for a worthless ceasefire deal that just means the war begins again whenever Israel or USA decides to bomb again.

it would require trump to be capable of diplomacy

4 days ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Trump today is out saying after the deadline this evening that a civilization will soon end which to me sounds like some mass population murder.

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Which he isn't, because he's fundamentally unable to recognize the past. As in that it exists, and what he has said an done so far. He approaches every situation as if it's completely new and has no history. The only thing he (sometimes) remembers is insults to him.

Well, infants typically lack object permanence, after all.

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#6 is actually the one that upsets me the most. Bees are so gods damned important but if it isn't money it's not worth it to CEO's and idiots at the top.

4 days ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Republicans are so stupid. And will the MAGA farmers make a peep? Probably not.

4 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

It's all so fucking stupid because none of their money or their "legacy" will be worth a damn when humans render the environment inhospitable to human life through their hubris. They are literally incapable of seeing beyond the next 5 seconds of their own worthless existences. And yes, I'm including those bunker building buffoonish buttheads who somehow think they will survive... WITH WHAT, KNUCKLEFUCKS, WHEN THE REST OF THE WORLD IS DEAD. Infrastructures don't fucking run themselves...

trump won't expire easily. Fueled by malice, he has at least another decade in him, probably more.
So you can't rely on old Grim for salvation.

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And his death won't end the danger.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No chance he has a decade he will likely be dead before the year is out.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nauseous from this "stay tuned and find out" rhetoric. He'd better blink like he always does.

More cat pics, as promised. She nests hard and does her big big stretches.

Or it's option 3: someone who has already had to pay the massive increases in electricity costs. Indiana has skyrocketing utility costs. In just the last 3 years in this house my winter bill went from 350-400 to 750-800. Same house, same appliances, same everything. But they charge a LOT more per kWh than they did 3 years ago. We've had multiple rate increases with no significant infrastructure upgrades and a data center would only make that worse.

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hatred of data centers is one of those rare, genuinely bipartisan issues. They jack up costs of living in their area, pollute like a motherfucker, and the noise genuinely causes health issues in the towns they're in.

Don’t forget that they’re probably poisoning water tables. And that’s to say nothing that these ultra rich cucks are repeatedly pushing against the idea of water being a human right
