Some gif wizard, please make it so he flies off from the initial jump. It's just so majestic.
Emilbee
That is the epitomy of a superman frontflip. How can he do that with coconuts that big?
Honeybadger2198
The new SSX game has amazing graphics

As much as I love the progression of snowboard. (Quad quarks) and all that. Style is beautiful thing to see.
terrorofthederp
That snow man, he's a god!
LaughingSeraphim
How is this equitable to dying in combat?
Crazytrain77
Here's your ticket.
Gunshooow
is this real or just a fantasy
JustHereForTheRiots
Oh man if you come up short on that jump you are going to have a bad time.
WitchTrialz

No, that dude isn't awaited in Valhalla because he didn't die.

Not so impressed by the jumper(its a rather meh stunt tbh) as I with the snow mobile and his passenger making the same jump and being that
steady while filming. Sure could be a steady setup but still and the person filming cant hold on to the driver.
Icamehereforcoolshit
It's literally just another boarder hitting the jump and pointing the camera in the right general direction
KharnApproves
Well, Valhalla is for warriors. Shredding nar is not really a qualifying metric.
I think you're taking this too literally. The trick just evoked a playful version of the "witness me" scene:

For anyone wondering what he actually did was throw a camera like a GoPro right before the jump, thats why it hits the snow at the end. 1/2
He most likely had find or something on the end to keep it from spinning. 2/2
Nope. I watched this in person. It was my friend riding in front with a gopro on a gimbal filming pointed backwards while hitting the jump
Ohhhhhhh. I saw this on Reddit with the caption similar to I explained and totally believed it. Thank you for the correct information!

I love it.

(not mine, but a good one.)
Amazing that the war boy in this post was also the kid in "About a Boy"
FredGarvinMaleProstitute
just think, the guy with the camera did the whole thing flying backwards
stvgrc
Yeah but weak landing. I mean, you have one job: slide down a snow covered hill backwards on a board while keeping the shot in frame and...
hockeyham
Honestly thought it was a video game
I'm pretty sure it is.
SteveSteveSteve55
This is the X Games version of the old Ginger Rogers joke. She did things backwards and in heels, if you know what I mean.
Mdp2525
Dancing?
1/2 Yes. Ginger Rogers danced with Fred Astajre. When people raved about Astaire's dancing, other folks said Ginger did everything he did,
2/2 but backwards and in heels.
acezup08
Passenger on snowmobile
Definitely not. It's another snowboarder

I was definitely thinking what the top comment guy said until your comment lol

Should have used a drone...
wigglingdangernoodle
Probably used a drone
theBEARDEDarchaeologist
Nope you can see when camera person lands
EuphoricDysphoria
That was the drone landing.
If he's wearing the wristband that detects position for a drone, it may be the drone catching snow when he dips down to ground-level.
I agree. But I can't understand how they got the shot.
ChesterCopperpots
You should check out Warren Miller
UrKungFuNoGood
You can wear the camera pointed any direction and rely on timing to keep the frame on target.
I have a GoPro and I snowboard a lot and my shots are always super fucked. This is really solid tracking.
