I know exactly how you feel op... my biggest regret in life is never finishing my farming sim before stardew valley came out, I had the chance to beat them to the punch and I became a repair tech instead. But the truth is releasing a game these days is a huge gamble, it might be better to have a stable job.

I've been unemployed for a year and it's been rough. The best part, though, is I've been able to get so much work done on my short story collection. It's the best I've ever felt about it and it sucks I'll have less time to write once I find a stupid job because capitalism.
