At 38 I got married, no gray hairs. After 5 years in marriage, I got them popping in my beard everywhere. My brother, who is almost 50, has none. I blame my wife. She doesn't find it humorous. I think it's true though :D
You take what you can get. I get told that it doesn't look like I've got a 25-year-old daughter and that I can pass for my mid thirties. I'm 48. Not going to complain.
40, must be nice, I started turning grey at 18, was completely gray at 25. I'm 60 now, for most of my life, people thought I was 20-30's younger than I was
Nothing wrong with that :) also, I had gray hairs when I was 16. Mainly in my beard. Im 42 and my sides are starting to salt and pepper now. Still, a compliments a compliment ;D
I was once shopping with my mom and the cashier asked "how long have you been together?". I'm not sure who was more embarrassed, my mom or the cashier after I informed her.
The changing nature of work, too. A lot fewer jobs in post-industrial countries involve the sort of backbreaking labor and repetitive motion that characterized many jobs 50-75 years ago or more. (Sedentary jobs have their own health hazards.) Wasn't uncommon for someone's body to be completely used up by age 50-55.
I'll be 46 on Saturday and I really think that this is the most attractive I've ever been... A little grey is sexy and the confidence to back it up helps. I don't know if I'm less awkward than I was in my 20s, but I don't worry about it anymore, which is a huge win.
I don't mind aging and I LOVE gray hair and eye crinkles. I wouldn't say I'm more attractive than I was in my 20s but I think I look pretty decent :) Happy early birthday!!
I mean.. i didn't see 'hot' in the description, just 'young' - she was obviously into 'younger men' or was saying u look immature, didn't see any mention of 'attractive' in all that.

I get that a lot with my son as well. It helps that he has a huge beard and I have no gray hair.
Anfalicious
She was hitting on you
Bytencoder
Does it hurt? 'Cause you've just been hit.

Take the compliment and call it a win!
JaelitheKitty
I get this shit all the time. I actually got ID'd when I went to pick up my 16 year old son from school early. It gets old

My son and I have been called siblings several times, and once someone asked how long we'd been married!
mrbadxampl
I wish I still had hair to turn gray... started losing it way back in my 20s...

39 and I've been greying since I was 16. I get confused for a HS student a lot, myself. Millennials as a whole, I think, are aging pretty well!

You had a beard at 16?
trigonman3
Human males (generally) start growing beards at puberty.
Myoron
I was once shopping with my mom and the cashier asked "how long have you been together?". I'm not sure who was more embarrassed, my mom or the cashier after I informed her.
trigonman3
Your mom: "How long ago did I give birth to you?"
[to cashier]: "That long."
Myoron
That was pretty much what I had responded, "since I was born".
RipThemUpRatchet
My uncle’s hair went gray in high school, and totally white by the time he turned 21.
Gantzz321
can confirm, but not sure if I'm your uncle or not. It happened to me
RipThemUpRatchet
Wise beyond your years! ;)

Lower rates of smoking have lead latter generations to age better than past ones.

Or to still look and sound like children until very late in life. >_>
TheMightyMollusk
As opposed to boomers, who only act like children.
CyberHexx
Speaking as a Millennial, I have no argument with that.
Beanholio
That and using sunscreen as intended - makes a big difference!
SergeyPrkl
not to mention, there has not been lead in the air and water in decades.

I just dont go outside. Dont need sunscreen if you dont go outside!

That doesn’t explain the Millennial age bracket somehow aging better than Gen Z though…
TKpotato
We don’t go outside
WeatherWiz
Turning 32. I found a gray hair in a beard. It’s all downhill from here
swofromtherock
My stupid beard grew greys from day 1. Well not actually day one, more like year 13? Point is, I've been an old man since puberty.

I'd happily trade my very limited blond hair for full head of grey hair, it's all about perspective. But, it's not going downhill.
resworn
My dude, grey beards are 😩👌
BoobJiggle
I was full gray at 25.. I'm 40 now, no gray left, just white :'(
thelonepig
I started going gray at 21 and get lots of compliments on my hair.
Welley
Started at 16 here, full grey/white at 30
BoobJiggle

rolliefingers
So, outside of a supermarket??
