A reminder that an Imperial Gallon is 1.2 of a US Gallon... so when you hear about their better mileage it is cuz they have more go juice.
InfocalypseRising
you know I was actually thinking recently that gas prices were the ONE thing he had somehow managed to not fuck up. Sorry everyone.
Illpostcheese
Yep, and I gotta remember to pick up my $20 1lb bag of coffee.

In Sweden diesel is USD 8.74 for an US Gallon today... (21,20 kr/liter) and here comes a swedish expression of what I think about Trump: Jävla äckelgubbe!!!

When it hits $5 a gallon in Arizona, I'll post a picture asking if this is one of those lame EV mandates.

So in a couple of days then
EricAirheart

REOJackwagon
I think you can get it for less if you sign up for 711 or Sam's club

I'm in N Calif, diesel near me is $6.79/gal
EricAirheart
I grew up there and, nope. Just gas prices alone keep me away. Haha.
xkjagnz
Is that per us gallon? Ours is per litre!
EricAirheart
Yes and im to uneducated to know the conversation, sorry.

For dirty maths; one US Gallon is approximately 3.75-3.8 liters, a mile is 1.6 kilometers, an inch is about 2.5 centimeters, half an inch is 12.7 milliliters, an ounce is 28 grams, and a kilogram is about 2.2 pounds.
swofromtherock
It's roughly 4L to the G. Milk gallons proclaim to be 3.78L.
Neednoggle
For us Canucks, that's $2.36 per litre, and goddamn, I thought it was expensive here..
pullingsixty
1.55/L here today.
xeoxion
Alberta??

wtf it’s usually way higher in Ontario.
It’s 1.48-1.55 a liter here in Calgary, and we have the lowest gas tax of Canada.
pullingsixty
It's a war! There's money to be made! Before the bombing started we hovered around 1.30-1.35 for the last few months. Before that 1.20-1.25 for what I want to say was most of the last half of 2025
ILoveThiPlatform
We’re at $3.39 in Philly
JustBoone
3.59 here in hellinois and climbing.

lynxrufuscalifornicus
Yep. Per gallon. This is the US - of *course* we’re gonna fuck all y’all out there first and hardest. He’s still getting around to really fucking us.

I think you are missing an exchange rate, 1 NZ dollar is about .59 USD. That would mean $3/gal US would be 5.08 NZ.
dohcohv
So that means the $11.35 NZ would be about $6.69USD. Its $4.59/gal here.
xkjagnz
All my prices are in nz$ and GBP as i am english in nz
dohcohv
I understand that. Comparing US $ at 3.39/gal to NZ at 11.59/gal leaves out the exchange rate though.
