A reminder that an Imperial Gallon is 1.2 of a US Gallon... so when you hear about their better mileage it is cuz they have more go juice.

When it hits $5 a gallon in Arizona, I'll post a picture asking if this is one of those lame EV mandates.

For dirty maths; one US Gallon is approximately 3.75-3.8 liters, a mile is 1.6 kilometers, an inch is about 2.5 centimeters, half an inch is 12.7 milliliters, an ounce is 28 grams, and a kilogram is about 2.2 pounds.

wtf it’s usually way higher in Ontario.

It’s 1.48-1.55 a liter here in Calgary, and we have the lowest gas tax of Canada.

It's a war! There's money to be made! Before the bombing started we hovered around 1.30-1.35 for the last few months. Before that 1.20-1.25 for what I want to say was most of the last half of 2025

We’re at $3.39 in Philly

Is that per us gallon? Ours is per litre!

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yep. Per gallon. This is the US - of *course* we’re gonna fuck all y’all out there first and hardest. He’s still getting around to really fucking us.

I think you are missing an exchange rate, 1 NZ dollar is about .59 USD. That would mean $3/gal US would be 5.08 NZ.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So that means the $11.35 NZ would be about $6.69USD. Its $4.59/gal here.

All my prices are in nz$ and GBP as i am english in nz

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I understand that. Comparing US $ at 3.39/gal to NZ at 11.59/gal leaves out the exchange rate though.
