I've been struggling to find full-time, stable work over the last 2 years. I've worked two jobs for over 3 years and am down to one job that just barely covers the bills. I'm trying to stay optimistic and am continuing to apply for work. That being said, sometimes it gets real hard keeping that head held high or reasonably leveled. Don't care if I get downvote to oblivion. I just needed to vent to someone.

I understand how you feel. I eventually settled with taco bell and been there 4 years

Only 9 rejections? Child's play. Try hundreds.

I'm worried about this when I lose enough weight and start looking for work. But 8 places around me have needed help for months 1/2

Cause hardly anyone in the area can pass a drug test. 2/2

What line of work you in and roughly where do you live? @OP

In education but am trying to get out of the field. Just not cut out for it

I hear ya...Had a couple carer changes myself....keep at it...it may take years but its worth the work to find something you like!

Yeah it's rough changing careers. Sometimes all you need is just some motivational words. Thanks for that

The fact that you are getting to the interview stage means you have something going for you. Look to your interview style, maybe?
Kalamain
Have you considered asking for feedback from these interviews? If not then it could be worth the follow up.
hungoveratworkguy
I will do that after my next interview. Hopefully it's a winner but if not I will ask for some feedback on areas to improve on
Kalamain
If it's not been too long, maybe get in touch with the last interviewer... If it's been more than a month or so then don't bother.
