A pick up for a grocery getter?

I heard the Japanese were getting bigger with better nutrition in recent generations, but I had no idea...

K-car? More like k-car

to think you can get tiny cars without molesting kids like the Schriners.

That smile at the end! That's pure happiness right there!

There's a park a block down from the high school I went to that has a small scale roadway system built in it - for the purpose of teaching kids road rules and lessons in safety. It'd be so cool to have a bunch of these cars to race around it (it's about the right scale). You could make money doing that I'm sure.

Upsetting lack of Eurobeat

I've got a gut feeling that this is street legal since it has all of the same safety features as its real life counterpart.

Even has the popup headlights :)

I've heard about these tiny Japanese cars but I had no idea!

I don't remember this scene from The Fast and the Furious - Tokyo Drift.

You may not like it, but this is literally the most efficient design of car.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fun, but my Hot Wheels take up less space

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sure, but the legroom is also a bit more limited.

I like that he used his turn signal!

From a few years ago, a whole racing league. Only slightly larger and a lot faster.

So this is what a GAZelle trying to run from a predator in the snow looks like.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It works. Do you see a predator?

Wow I thought I'd have trouble fitting behind the wheel in an old MG or Miata...

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Try a Daihatusu Copen, if you ever get the chance. Next to this tiny hardtop convertible, a Miata looks like a full-sized pickup truck. I've never experienced any other car that I fit into this snugly, like a tailor-made shoe. The first ones should come to the US next year, but I'd recommend waiting for European models, which not only had more power, but eventually also got a LHD version. Handling is sublime, but driving it in traffic requires courage.

Goodness! That's like a golf cart haha. I wouldn't have enough room for groceries or anything else.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You actually need to close the roof to have any cargo space worth mentioning, since it electrically folds into the trunk. Not the most practical car in the world, but then again, nobody expects it to handle the weekly shopping for a family of four. It's a sports car that you can have fun with way below the speed limit and that anyone can afford to run and insure.
