In the USA (maybe other countries idk) schools have Spirit Week (iirc I’m old) where each day is a different theme to add some fun. Crazy Sock Day can be one. You’re supposed to wear colorful or patterned or silly socks to school. This post shows someone taking the “crazy” part literally
