That new 200W-3000 oil

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On the plus side it also didn't have any leaks or burn oil.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm curious what engine and how many miles.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I may not know much about cars, but I take it being able to use your old motor oil to repave your driveway is a bad thing.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks fine to me 👍🏻

3 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I wish they did a magnet test for the left over oil. There must be tons of little metal parts in it.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow that's pretty disgusting.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

do unmute

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

That oil be like

3 days ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Say that's about 90% shredded metal. Put a magnet near that and it'll fly. And look how shiny it is lmao

Forbidden jam.

3 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

a fren of mine thinks that oil should last the life of the engine and you know what, he's not entirely wrong.

3 days ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 2

This might be the best comment imo

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Light a fire for a man and you keep him warm for a night. If you light the man on fire... You keep him warm for the rest of his life

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Is it gonna be ok?

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

[ This kills the engine }

3 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yep. They put some wd40 on it and now it’s happily driving highways up state.

Dad? I thought you went to go get smokes 5 years ago!

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Spray it with some brake cleaner. I'm sure that will fix it

3 days ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Ahhh brake cleaner, the one shot does all universal cleaner that also smells like a meadow and is completely safe for plastic and paint!!

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I like how you didn't include "lungs" in the "safe for" list XD

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean it is an “industrial” cleaner. “If
It don’t kill fish it just don’t werk!!”

I knew a guy "I paid $80,000 for that car, it shouldn't need oil changes " Spoiler alert: he should have changed the oil.

3 days ago | Likes 133 Dislikes 2

Usually cars at that price point have included maintenance for the warranty period. So Porsche, Mercedes, BMW…etc.

Disagree.

That's why they did it, to make sure you share in the joy

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I also don't understand, it was a parody and it was funny and also directly relevant to the video

He can't hit the high notes in the chorus

A little while after my sister first moved out, she needed to borrow my car for its cargo space while I took hers for a week. It was a 98 Nissan Sentra. This was around 2008. It would barely move. As I was trying to get it up to speed on the interstate, I looked at the sticker on the windshield and saw that the last time the oil was changed was 54,000 miles different than the odometer. In fact, it was the last time I had took it and had it changed when she still lived at home.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Hard to judge this without knowing how many miles were on it at the time. Or when the last time you took it was.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Almost 100k miles and about three years since I took it. I had to have it flushed. Once it had fresh oil in it (and regular maintenance) she got another 70k-ish out of it before the timing belt broke and she traded it. What a tough little car.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's amazing that an engine can survive that. I guess to some extent it depends on the situation - people in hot climates or people who drive their cars hard may not be so lucky. I've certainly seen post-mortem videos of engines that cacked it at about 100K miles and the inside is full of tar.

I new a guy who bought an 80s Volvo for dirt cheap, said oil changes were almost as much as he paid for the car so he never did any, drove that car for four years before it quit... absolutely astonishing.

3 days ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

i'm at about 3 years on my jeep now without an oil change

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

I mean if the end goal is to say fuck it bc u got other plans for it then I mean... I guess. Still feels like a waste. Like its one thing if the transmission is fucked, or the block cracks outside of regular maintenance, but if ur just gonna trash the thing for the sake of it, might as well pick up smoking cigs and trash urself

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It was a heap. The only good thing about it was that it was still running. Rusted to hell, previous owner smoked in it daily, and yeah the transmission was pretty trash. Probably wouldn't have passed inspection had he been pulled over. Damn thing just refused to die easy.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My dad told me about how they used to buy trash vw beetles to get em working just enough to take em in a corner field and intentionally roll em over. How much of that do I believe? 70% but I could see it from ur buddy's pov

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are things I miss from driving an old POS of a car. Not many, and certainly not enough to go get one now. But not giving a damn what happened to it was rad. Neighbor backs into it? No worries man! Can't even find the dent. New stain on the seat? It kinda matches that other one.

Is it because the driver probably wrapped it around a tree already because they believed they were the embodiment of a B stage rally driver?

Hey, that tree came out of nowhere!

Lesbians are known for this?

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know three lesbians and two of them have been in wrecks that have totaled their cars, so.... Maybe?

1 day ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because head gasket will blow way earlier.

3 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I've been hearing problems with head gaskets, why only if you're a dumbass? Poor maintenance? Wrong fluids? Driving like a hoon with the turbo spun up 24/7 makes too much pressure?

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Because they use total loss lubrication?

3 days ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Head gaskets and piston ringlands as wear items

3 days ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

Blown head gasket. It's What Makes a Subaru a Subaru
But at least it isn't a Wankel engine

and the timing covers crack as an overheat indicator.
