All the talk of Americans fighting tyranny is just bootlicking in disguise.

Unfortunately, thanks to America and Israel, The Iranian regime may be the only thing standing in the way of the vultures swooping in like in Libya which is now a war-torn hellhole with open air slave markets. Which CNN witnessed and reported on several years ago.

Yes, the United States helped a holocaust and Israel is guilty of it. Both countries politicians responsible and officers in the military need to be executed, not arrested, put to death

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

both communities imported african slaves and currently profit off of African poverty and war.

still want their children to eat and live free of the memory of air strikes and goverment oppression

For years American propaganda was competent. They could cloak themselves in some form of balance by MSNBC having Madhi Hasan or letting the other side in a war talk without filters. It still served American propaganda by way of framing or time slots, leftist Joy Reid got the weekend slot while right wing Joe Scarbrough got the weekday morning slot. The end result was until recently that even in countries who hate the US, American news was trusted more than their own news. Since 2024 that is gone

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it even goes for non-news. Conan O Brian did a special in Israel in 2017, barely talked to any Palestinians and did one serious talk to some activists near the wall. Meanwhile int he actual aired show the serous talk was posted only online and with a disclaimer that he didn't feature opposing views from Israelis. Now with this trick Conan or NBC could claim it covered both sides while favoring one and even I, a Muslim, would fall for it.

"Your media is nothing but lies, and you are complicit in our holocaust." Both of these cannot be true.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

A.) Why? That doesn't even make sense as an objection. B.) The holocaust he's referring to is what Israel (with US help) did and is still doing to Gaza and the West Bank, as well as what they are now doing to Iran and Lebanon.

So who owns most of the Western media companies? Who sits on their boards and tells them how to report on events? Who are the editors who tell the reporters how to write their stories?
Look into those facts and see who is really to blame.

>Iranian Professor Marandi< and what's his stance on the Iranian government exterminating peaceful protestors? Cuz it's one thing to say something that's true, it's another to say so as a deflection of the crimes the far right government you personally support is doing. So, does he personally support a far right government? or no.

3 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 13

He probably does. So ? Does this make the points he listed invalid ? Whataboutism is not only a cheap tactic because it distracts, it is also cheap because people use it to deflect truthful arguments by discrediting who brought them forward.

The arguments still stand, even though a total scumbag used them. So your ad hominem attack in this case is meaningless. Truth remains the same, no matter who speaks it.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

sorry man, trump attacked iran so iran are the good guys now and you have to ignore reality and defend them here on imgur. sure they're a brutal dictatorship that oppresses women and murders dissidents and virtually everyone agrees with that INCLUDING IRAN but you know thats just western propaganda.

Oh hey @NinerThreeFourTangoXraySierra, I couldn't help but notice you kept using phrases like "kill yourself" and threatening to rape people and then immediately deleting the comments so that you could try and hide it. You know, as part of a marginalized group like the trans community, I'd really expect you to know that's the language of a nazi, but I guess when it comes to someone calling you on your support for fascism, you stop pretending your loyalties lie anywhere but with fascists

I've been saying for years North Korean propaganda doesn't hold a candle to America. We are the most brainwashed population on earth.

3 weeks ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 6

Top comment pretty much confirms that

3 weeks ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 12

Yes it does

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Plus I suspect the top comment is just bots or page trolls spreading Western propaganda. As soon as they started talking about the death penalty for homosexuals I was like dude that's what The Republicans are trying to do here what are you talking about.

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

Almost like Iran AND Republicans can be shitty. The world isn't so convenient as to always have one side be the good guy.

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

I'm not defending Iran, but are you defending this war?

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Wow, paranoid much. Top comment is certainly not propaganda and most likely not a bot. We can hate Irans religious leadership and condemn Trumps war at the same time and if you can't accept that, you are causing undue conflict and infighting between allies.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

The Trump regime and project 2025 are attempting to turn America into the very same Iran we are attacking for their religious zealotry. Plus, you know, war bad. Unnecessary war big bad bigly.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You actually down voted war is bad.... Who's the real bad guy here?

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Okay but make no mistake the current Iranian regime are horrible people to their own people. They arent saints.

thats no excuse for killing kids, The Iranian people has a right to defend itself

They’ve killed way feeling innocent civilians than the USA has

If you include all civilians killed with USA-made weapons, the USA is up there with mao for most civilian kills worldwide

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 5

It is possible for every side in a conflict to be bad. Nobody here is saying the Iranian government are the good guys. But bad people can sometimes be right about some things.

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True, but they didn't participate in the Israeli genocide nor blow up a school. So... Pot kettle?

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

They caused it by funding and enabling hamas to attack on ocft 7th

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

So is north korea, and they have actual nukes. Why aren't we doing anything about them?

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

So... you're saying that they're a useful scapegoat?

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They’re not killing other population than their own. Israel and the US are eradicating children . Fuck anyone supporting anything like that .. oh and your pedo-in-chief raped babies .

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Yes they are, what do you think shahed drones do in Ukraine? hamas in gaza? hebzollah, the huthis and all the other terror groups Iran funds

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Based on your arguments , how many Americans weapons were used to bomb Gaza ?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The last leader was like a pope to many of the people there. It is not up to us to force regime changes in other countries, at the behest of Israel no less, when we can take care of our own fucking people. We need a regime fucking change. There are people going without healthcare while he bombs people across the sea for being “horrible people.” He said no more wars and he fucking lied just like he does all the time.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It seems to just be an IQ thing, stupid people cannot comprehend the idea of two guilty parties waging war on each other, to them one side must be justified. So therefore if Israel does a bad thing, suddenly Iran is a completely innocent country and all of their crimes are just "western propaganda". These also tend to be the people most affected by populist rhetoric.

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Whataboutism bullshit. Projection and deflection. It's not about Iran. Its the Nazi party 2.0 doing horrible shit. Focus.

3 weeks ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 7

Just like the American regime since the start

3 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who gives a fk, why are you victim blaming? Such a weirdo reaction. The us regime is horrible to its people as well, and had caused millions of deaths globally. Iran less bad

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 8

"They're bad so if we're also bad too it's fine."

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

And you got your info about that from who exactly? The same people that said Hamas beheaded a thousand babies and that Israel isn't committing genocide in gaza?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

No government is saints.
But it always baffled me how we point out how horrible some governments are to their people, while at the same time it's the US that has the most prisoners per capita worldwide. More than every damn "regime" or dictatorship... In the land of freedom. It's hilarious

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

being more horrible does not seem to be a human solution.

3 weeks ago | Likes 97 Dislikes 0

Sure! But we should always respect sovereignty. Otherwise, what's happening in Ukraine and Palestine become legitimized. No hypocrisy no wars! As an aside, war and sanctions have the opposite of their intended effect: they strengthen regimes. The more stable countries are, the more the populous can resist from within.

3 weeks ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

The guy being interviewed is not a representative of Iran's government.

3 weeks ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 3

And our government lies to us constantly...... Who we get our information from mostly it's not part of our government either.

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

True, but he seems to be (rightfully) talking down the US and it's actions, and (unfairly) uplifting the Iranian state.

3 weeks ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 6

For sure, which only makes me more pissed that my nation ceded the moral high ground to them.

3 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Where are you from, and how your country had the "moral high ground"?

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

True! They have been persecuting the Bahais for over 150 yrs

3 weeks ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

America has been persecuting non whites for longer

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

So then, who’s the winner in your trite little argument?

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

no one untill we alllllllll start treating eachother as humans (and also disallow the sickness that leads to billionaires and hundred millionaires to control society and pit us against eachother)

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

They killed 40,000 protesters in 2 weeks!
It was to set an example- they ran out of body bags and the morgues were full!
People in hospitals were also slaughtered in their hospital beds .
I hope the country can change

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Source these claims buddy, please. Not railing against this being a possible untruth, more that I want people making claims to spread media literacy as well as it is the responsible thing to do when making claims like these. Again, I am not disagreeing or agreeing with this claim, needs proppa sourcing.

3 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That's why it feels so weird to take a stance. Now, I'm not saying what trump did was good (taking it upon himself to "fix" a nation, doing it for purely selfish reasons, not having a plan, bending to a foreign nations whims, not even attempting to minimize civilian casualties, etc), but I feels like such a hard position to say "I don't like what trump did" that wouldnt easily be misconstrued as "pro Ayatollah"

3 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 6

What Trump has done, IMO, is to kill children and civilians, to support Iran (side effect, Putin). There are other plausible reasons, but politically on the world stage that’s what this does. Very illegal by US law, but GOP doesn’t care. I also don’t like a LOT of governments. But “regime change” is not a reason for attacking a sovereign nation.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's like if kingpin took out all the other mob heads under the "guise" of "cleaning up the city", all while he clearly benefits. It's hard to stand up and say "I think what he did is wrong" and not have it come off as "I think the other mobsters were innocent and should be protected.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

I mean it's normal for 2 things to be true at the same time imo

3 weeks ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

I know that, what I'm saying is that it's easy for others to "misconstrue" what I'm saying (especially when they are dumb like maga)

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

who cares.

Are they experiencing an existential crisis for this reason? No.

Why do westerners always have this chuvanistitic attitude that THEY are the most moral and get to dictate what is or isnt acceptable.

US & Europe are no saints either.

The only country in the world that can claim sainthood is Cuba. China comes close but it does what it does for it's own interest.

3 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

China builds infrastructure for those that want it and peacefully rose as a superpower through diplomacy and trade.

Cuba despite being blockaded by the US aka West, and losing it's key trading partner the USSR. Exports doctors to bypass trade restrictions providing life saving assistance for people in the global south. Created a lung cancer treatment vaccine & breakthrough alzheimer's treatment. A public food system that guarantees people are fed. Codified LGBT+ rights in it's constitution.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Because like it or not, the west has the highest level of human rights

3 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

You think the entirety of the American Empire & it's vassals are less responsible for human rights violations than any other country?

Not even sanctions are bloodless and that's advertised as the most "humane" way of strangling the oxygen out of a society who will then will be laughed at and condemned for the way it breathes.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Never forget that when the US and NATO invaded, bombed and regime-changed Libya they did it in the name of “human rights”… and in the process transformed one of the most developed countries in Africa into a place riddled with civil war and infamous for open-air slave markets. >

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

This is a fact, by the way. It was investigated and reported by several major news agencies; CNN even filmed one of the slave auctions. And it’s not a minor thing, it has been documented in many known locations, where auctions were set on regular schedules. >

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

I’ll never forget the reporting, because in most cases the journalists totally failed to draw any connection to the NATO invasion. It was just “wow look at this extremely evil thing… oh well, moving on”, refusing to mention that the evil was 100% brought about by the US, UK, Canada, France etc. >

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

3 weeks ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Khamenei denied the holocaust even happened you dull potato.

3 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Why do you think I support Khamenei based on this comment? You people are all arguing with things I never fucking said as you keep regurgitating the same talking points Western media has consistently used to justify war. No one ever fucking said Iran's government are perfect heroes and universally good guys. You are imagining that I see things in black and white, because you people see this in black and white, and you're projecting your own ignorance and lack of nuance onto my comment.

3 weeks ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

The whole fucking point of that comment (which I shouldn't have to fucking explain) was to point out that the person I was responding to was literally doing exactly what the guy in the post is calling out. They're parroting propaganda narratives that are used to justify bombing Iranian civilians and invading their country. If someone points out that Western media is complicit in a holocaust and your first response is to justify why that person's country is being bombed you're part of the problem

3 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Amen brother. I got your back. The Imgur Hive mind can be impossible to crack. All most people see are up votes and down votes and they follow along without really reading the comments. It's the worst kind of criticism. Nitpicking every little word and phrase so they can dogpile on you to make themselves feel better. I both love it and hate it here. In my experience it's better just to delete a dog piled comment then to argue with idiots, and have your phone beeping every few minutes.
