There was one case with 3 of them with SOS signs up, yelling in hebrew for help, IDF shot them but one got to cover injured. The guy was begging for help and begging for his life, the IDF persuaded him that it'd been a mistake and to come back out, then they shot him. We only know thanks to a journalist who recorded it.
It's the Hannibal Doctrine/Directive that lets them do it, it's an extreme rule and they're pushing it even further but that's how they get away with it internally.
