The original Twilight Zone is my favorite show of all time. So many of the episodes touch on ideas and concepts that are still relevant today, 65 years later. To say it was ahead of its time would be an understatement.

Rod Serling... taken from us way before his time. I can only imagine what fantastic script writing and producing he could've done for another 20 years before retiring.
He is sorely missed. Such a brilliant, insightful, imaginative man.

RECOMMENDED: If you're a fan of Serling, you could do a lot worse than watch 'The Vast of Night'. It's a very Serling-like tale of a small town in New Mexico in the late fifties and strange disruptions to radio signals and to the local telephone exchange. The town is called Cayuga, the same as Serling's production company. What sets the film apart is the hugely original way in which the story is told. Oh, and the radio station is called K-WOTW. War Of The World's anyone?

I was genuinely shocked at Eye of the Beholder when I first saw it as a kid. The Obselete Man is another prescient episode when looking at the speed of automation, AI and the dismissal of art and culture from certain quarters.

Strange timing; I'm heading to a store in the next week or so to buy Night Gallery complete series because there's nowhere that's streaming it at a reasonable price. My brother thought I was crazy for hanging on to my dvd player and collection of discs. Who's crazy now? Lol

And well, the series was made in low resolution, so it still looks OK on DVD. But remastering... wow. It IS magnificent, but then there's a little magic lost in doing that.

We must have different subscriptions, or you're in another region that has it. I just searched, and it says "no results". Im in the US btw. Prime video wants $1.99 an episode or $17.49 for one season. I can go get the complete series for less than $20 and no ones going to come back at me with some "purchase doesn't mean ownership" crap.

I’m also in the US but maybe my “included” membership is different. Yes, the issue with buying a movie via Prime or whatever means you need to stick with that service or your purchase goes bye bye. Love hate relationship but mostly hate.
I also just looked at my account details and it’s included with Spectrum (cable provider) in southern CA.

Ah, there's the squeaky wheel. No Spectrum subscription. We're in SE OK and they don't service this far east. We'll at least I know Im not crazy or as my wife puts it "selectively blind" lol. I wouldn't give up my DVDs or DVD player. I love them as it means I can watch any movie I choose at anytime I please - I don't have to go around hunting for them. Neither do you get the extras with streaming - I'm a sucker for the 'Making Of...' parts. I have around 600 DVDs, and they ain't goin' nowhere! I'm also delighted that nobody wants them as I can pick up great movies for as little as 25p (about 34 cents US) in second hand shops.

Right!? We found a local mom and pop game shop that sells them and has a pretty decent selection. The guy says no one ever buys them, so no competition, lol. We live in an area that sees frequent storms, including tornadoes, and the internet goes out regularly. Everyone else is complaining and Im like "ok, Im gonna go binge watch tales from the crypt or family guy; i haven't decided yet. Come by later were gonna watch Office Space!" Lol
