Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination.
…not a two-three week unit that is taught once in your early teenage life. If science was pushed as a more fundamental part of education… and many of the topics taught more than once, then adults would remember and understand.
Just for anyone wondered (or who has forgotten)… phases of the moon and how the moon revolves around the earth, etc is taught in junior high. I’ve worked with several science teachers, myself included, and students struggle with this. In our collective opinion, it’s because most kids just don’t care about this topic. They remember it just long enough to pass the unit but then it’s out of their heads soon after. To learn about and REMEMBER something in science often requires continued interest…
Oh my god… your username is peak.
Is this like the new version of the guy drinking cranberry juice while on a skateboard?
Well, the OP had to use one as an example. A dollar isn’t a life-changing amount of money - they could always destroy it afterwards.
Motherfuckers actually downvoting this.
You forgot the “/s” at the end of your comment. When you forget and make a comment like that, you look like an idiot.
I love my black cats but I’m really thinking the next one to join my entourage will be this breed. I’m more a part of THEIR entourage, they just take turns being the lead. 😂
Jeez. I never really look at user names but your comment made me.
It’s not about taking a day off - it’s about expressing our political position. It’s the same with drinking in public at a bar and being seen by parents of our students. If we push the wrong way, we can be reprimanded, suspended, etc. I got in trouble (had to go to the board) last year because I simply stated some factual information about Charlie Kirk when he died.
Well, getting my teaching cert revoked leaves me with no job/career. I can protest in other ways that won’t leave me and my family homeless.
In Texas, we get fired for doing that, I believe… unfortunately.
So “I likeD” Ana for what she’s said and done. Hopefully, she’s not gonna go full blown maga or whatever.
Sucks to see Ana say something like this to AOC. I like Ana for a lot of what she’s said/done.Sounds like she’s picking a fight based on minimal information.
Sounds like you just described every religion that ever existed to me. Joel Olsteen does the same shit… bad Christian. James Talarico wants to help everyone and make the world a better place… good Christian.Did you ever think that maybe there are good people who happen to believe in Scientology just like there can be bad people?
…set beliefs aside as long as you’re a good person.
Lad-di-freakin’-da. And I’m an atheist. It’s only a big fucking deal if you intentionally harm people. There are good Christians and there are bad. Good Muslims and bad Muslims. And so on and so forth. You wanna believe in some crazy shit about how the universe works? Go ahead. Just make sure you’re a good person. Good being you don’t cause pain and suffering to others. Follow the golden rule.I don’t believe in any god’s existence - I’m just as crazy to them as they are to me. But I can

Better than not at all. I’d love to be in a movie for 10 seconds as an extra or any role.
As a teacher, there’s so many things I could say but I’m so tired of having already said them. At this point, I just deal with the issues (like entitled, oblivious parents) like it’s white noise.I have a save file titled “parent emails” — not of emails I’ve saved from parents — but of reply emails that are already made up that I can just copy, paste, modify names/dates/etc, and send back to the parent because shit like in that guy’s video happen so often.
Definitely!
Same energy as the “ALL I WANT IS WINGSTOP!”
You know… THEY! The same ones making’ the frogs gay!
I can’t believe no one’s posted a Ross meme yet.
