It could coerce someone into aiding it for the money if it's intelligent.
An unhealthy amount of people are defending it, and I'm getting the feeling that developers are going to try to shift to this model, since it's capable of garnering less hate because its not affecting gameplay. They're just shifting tactics and it's just working unfortunately... And it's going to get worse.

Because it's splitting off how many cables there are. If one side has more widespread usage and isn't proprietary then youd obviously choose that one and CN use it on other devices. You can make a case for it if the cable wasn't proprietary and stuck into 1 ecosystem.
Because it's more economically viable to switch to a universal standard than having to be forced to use a proprietary cable in the long term

Out of all the shows they could have shafted, they decided to make this on a tax write-off so there's 0 hope of it bei g re-do e domestically.
That wouldn't net them profit than just blanket letting everyone upload. Advertisers also hold it over them so if they allow said content, they'd lose the sfw advertisers in turn cause they don't want to be affiliated with a platform that allows it or that has a chance (bad coding, bad filters) for their ads to slip through to degen content. At the end of the day the advertisers still hold most of the power.
PH has the benefit of requiring verification for uploading videos before it's purged things were unchecked, and ads for pron are a static category so they don't have to do ad much. Youtube does not have this luxury in content management or advertising due to their size and automation can only do so much.
Kinda feel like that's a trap in itself cause if you describe the job on the resume (or any relevant job in it) and you have a large list of experience, you risk it not being read at all because the resume ends up too long and gets skipped anyway.

I've kind of just stopped watching new shows all together. I'll either go re-watch old ones and hat are completed or watch anime since that doesn't require live acting.
Wouldn't work out long term for youtube since they can't monetize 2 of those categories, and it'd be a hell of a lot of work to moderate the degenerate one
