America entering the war kept the French from collapsing, their soldiers were on the brink of mutiny, the war was growing increasingly unpopular in Britain too. There were growing numbers demanding an end to the war even if it meant losing like had happened in Russia. Germany was not on the run if anything they had the momentum in 1917 when America declared war and they had a massive offensive in 1918. The biggest thing that saved French and British morale was America entering the war.

WW1 and WW2 could not have been won without American industry and agriculture. Also I'd include things like America crushing the boxer rebellion and we won a LOT of proxy wars.
