It helps to watch the pilot, then skip to around the Season 2 finale. Wish they went with the "Right Stuff" story they wanted for Season 1.
90% of the time a lead hogs the spotlight while good characters just stand back until convenient. So much wasted potential.
DIS and PIC's greatest weakness came from rejecting ST's humanist methods. It's a bad idea to go with a partisan approach in Star Trek.
DS9 has best characters and story arcs. VOY has a fantastic premise held down by status quo, but it's entertaining as hell.
