literally a third party script that imgur has no control over what it does. And the scripts in the white house app are also javascript from some third party data minder... And bypassing system level privacy is just nonsense either the system allows the app to access the data or it doesn't. That is not bypassing, but a os problem (if its true).
perspective? The perspective 2001 was that 128MB are good enough to do everything you want, perhaps 256MB if you felt fancy. So, $70 to $140 covered the mid to high tier range.
Software doesn't run anymore on 128MB... 16GB, which are low end specs are now going for $200. You are paying $600 for any amount that is useful in software development. Manufacturers have decided to cut production of RAM because the prices start to plateau. What greedy bastards...
That looks like AI. Sharks don't bank like that. The tail isn't splashing at all, even though it is moving pretty fast. After the shark passes and starts to bank, it unnaturally drifts sideway. The whole vibe of this video is somehow screaming AI to me.
He could also redistribute the stones better, like you do with your blanket at night when your back is cold and you shove it into the general direction of the cold bodypart.
WHAT?
Sadly, where i come from everything that was regulated after the government spent billions to bail out the banks was a limit to how much the government can borrow.
Depending on the greed of the banker signing the loan.
There are more than a few instances where people got loans because someone got a bonus... ehem greetings from 2007.
Luckily we got regulations after that... wait, what? We didn't? Why is that?
Notice how fluent the menu works. Todays GUI developers could learn a thing or two from this.
She didn't even got to leash the dog. It just took the line and went for it.
TTD - Time to dick is a technical term in the video game industry and describes the time it takes from starting a game until the player made a dick.
Bullshit. They had to keep their box free for their own car and driver. Also, that is a Toyota that stranded in front of a Toyota team...
There is no suspension and therefore no dampeners. If the dampeners of your car are bad, it will bounce just as much, just slower, because of the longer suspension travel. It bounces way faster with the tires being the only thing that can deform.
impressively low.
I don't remember any of these Magic cards...
guys... fuck god - jesus loves you.... ok ok, no more puns for you today.
Jesus loves you, more than you can imagine ;)
Depression is not a choice.
That train has left. Who is to say when the next demented phsyco gets to rule the usa again. Europe is shifting its focus to become independent, both in military and economic sense. Off course, these are processes that take decades. A few terms of stable usa governments won't change anything.
Look, a system that makes drones exists. That is just your typical factory. No, it can't operate without humans and believe me, managers would love nothing more than that, but it is not possible within reason.
And a llm to control a tank is just not the right tool. That is also besides the point. If someone would want to do that, then regulations and laws are the important thing that would stop them.
@wadatahmydamie blocking me for calling you out is just childish...
What are you talking about? This was the first entry on imgur when i search for script:

The data will end up in an broker collection. The spy tools used in the white house app store everything on the servers of the usual suspects. Trump or even the people that made the app don't get to see the data.
They get a little bit of money from the data brokers for collecting the data, but they don't get to use the data.

@jalcantara88127001 is right. AI as we use it today can not think, not understand, not remember. It just calculates the most likely next word and doesn't even know who wrote the last word in the promt. All it does is give each word in its list a probability value and a randomizer then chooses one of the more likely words.
Because everyone who has actual knowledge about how these models work disagrees with this. This is nothing more than an distraction from the real thread: unregulated corporations that discriminate people with ai, steal content for ai, and exhaust energy at scale to do so.
What i absolutely don't worry about is ai becoming conscious or intelligent. That is not possible with the methods we use today and there is nothing in the near future that would indicate a breakthrough.
makes more sense to me
I'm not a fan of this data hoarding behavior, but what i read, the app does what every data hoarding app does. Everyone using the imgur "app" (website wrapped in an data miner), experiences the same as someone using the white house "app" (website wrapped in an data miner) does.
Cute little fans. - WHAT? - i said... I SAID CUTE LITTLE FANS!
Please don't film and drive.
*For government employees
not quiet the same as for all employees, but still a step in the right direction. There are studies that show that productivity for the remaining workdays increases, offsetting the missing workday (depending on the work). They even implemented reduced work hours for parents.
Off course, this would have a way bigger impact if the private sector would do the same...
I would argue that this makes working on roofs more dangerous. If you step on tiles, you know what to expect. But step on this thing with the expectation for it to not slide and you have a surprise waiting to happen to you.
