I love torties! Mine is very similar, plus quite a bit of sass! She was right at home the moment she came to me from the shelter.

I really feel for you. I literally just found out I tested positive and I've been so careful. I'm so scared for my mother that I shop for.

Fuck, I'm scheduled to go through there from an international flight in like 40 hours ?.

The gloves really can be a hindrance at times. Covering the face is a must, as bees seem to naturally target the face first when pissy.

The bees generally store what they need in their main nest. Also sorry for the long response time, I apparently missed the notification

It depends on the area and how a typical winter is, but usually what is stored in the shorter upper boxes is their excess!

Also feeding sugar water during nectar flow can contaminate extracted honey, i.e. it means sugar water instead of honey in the honeycomb.

A few issues to be aware of: open feeding like this can cause a feeding frenzy (lots and lots of bees) which can be alarming. 1/2

They don't exactly like us taking the honey, but good beekeepers only take the excess honey. Bees are just little preppers.

I personally like using an electric knife and then getting any missed cappings with a standard cheapo cappings scratcher

When I visited Russia a few years ago I made it a point to Google Putin memes. Nothing came of it.

located inside at the base of the central stalk. Finally, the size in the pic is a tad misleading; usually they are <9 ft tall 3/3

like every 10-ish years. Also it's actually the largest unbranched INFLORESCENCE in the world; the flowers themselves are small and 2/3

Just want to post some correct info here... the corpse flower can bloom every 2-3 years in the right conditions, but generally it's more 1/3

Well... I got a water bottle from my work. Oh, but not just any ol water bottle. It's an infuser!

Hit up Elicia's sometime. Hell, get some from each place and have a pizza sampling party!

Google "codependency" and maybe even try checking out "Codependent No More" by Melody Beattie

But the ship was east of SA on its voyage in that graphic

In my own experience I've had two BFs that would rarely let me pay. It was nice but maddening at the same time. I don't want to be dependent

To let me sleep. She now oftentimes seems to sit quietly near me on my bed, as I often find her there if I wake up to go to the bathroom.

When I first got my cat she would wake me up in the middle of the night to play. After many consistent scoldings she has learned 1/2

I though the same thing lol, except I freaked out when my mom took a sip of tea and I yelled "You're not supposed to drink and drive!!!"
