I am a science working in forensics!
#12 a toothbrush is a much better source of DNA than hair.
We totally could get great DNA off that, but like other comments: property crimes are way low in priority compared to others
Source: I worked in a lab studying chronic wasting disease through college. I'm still scared of prions. Everyone should be.

I've always used the Christmas selfie nonsense to remind myself to focus on the people around me instead of my phone. I find it a good thing
Huevos rancheros. Perfect.
I remember that day because I was driving to a job interview, and ended up behind a Delorean. Wish I had taken a picture for proof.

Our lab got through a huge backlog, and thanked...the managers. Not the laboratory staff. Or the lab they outsourced all the work to.
Read more about what they are trying to pass. A bill that prevents abortions after 6 weeks is on the list too. UGH.
Source: Google, and I'm also a forensic biologist.
But the above gif illustrates why bleach can make blood harder to visualize at crime scenes, because they do cross react.
If that's actually luminol, no. Luminol is chemiluminescent, and glows without needing to be visualized with an alternate light source.
As a forensic scientist there are very few crime shows I can watch without critiquing anymore...
In some states this also includes earwigs...so just...be careful...
The spectrum (autism); he said it was unlikely because I'm married?? Any advice on how to find someone to actually listen to me?
