It’s the added expense of a second set of tires people shy away from. I live in Michigan and have a full set of Blizzaks for my Tacoma. They make winter laughable on most days and passable on the worst.I’ve run snow tires on front wheel drive cars and you’ll laugh at most AWD/4x4 as you leave them behind at traffic lights.
That seems like a perfectly acceptable way to measure.
