During ww2 bombing campaigns on either side did not cause the desired political unrest/uprisings either side were hoping for, and in many cases did the opposite: strengthened their resolve to fight against those bombing them. So the only thing bombing has ever really been good at it is killing civilians, and destroying factories and infrastructure affecting wartime production. They don't, the problem is too many young people don't vote at all. Either because they're uninterested in politics or because polling stations in specific parts of america are purposely difficult to get to. It really sucks in America where you have a population above 300 million and you see in election results that less than 200 million actually voted
