The only artificial thing are the interpolated frames to slow it down. Looks weird, but I wouldn't call it fake

That's... not how this works. No reactor is designed to blow up, yet they still did and now there's radiation where it's not supposed to be.

Probably not. Micro electro mechanical structures (mems) are more accurate and way cheaper than any water based sensor would probably be. /
