Series going woke is not bad.Series only having 'woke' as the main focus point is. If done well you wont even notice it. If it is shoved into your face in a "Look! Look! We're doing it! See?!" then it isnt done well and kills the immersion. Good example of it done terrible is the shoehorned women of Marvel scene in Endgame.
Its fine to add diversity. Its not fine to have the whole: “Fuck you white people we’re stealing your IP’s” attitude. She could have a better message simply by having the “Star Wars is for everyone” and leave it at that.
