The ball has to touch the ground in the endzone, with the player still holding it, for it to be a try (4 points). If he just ran over the last line it wouldn't score, and possession of the ball would be given to the other team.
Yep. The two rugbys are superficially similar so are easy to mix up if you don't know what to look for. Close enough that some players transition between the sports quite easily. Aussie Rules is very different, being played on a much larger oval field and completely different rules and playstyle. The rugbys are closer to gridiron, whereas Aussie Rules is almost a weird amalgamation of rugby, soccer and basketball.
It's rugby league, the most popular sport in some Australian states. 'Rugby' normally refers to rugby union, a related but different sport, which isn't as popular in Australia but is bigger internationally.
Good is an understatement. Highly recommend anyone who is even slightly interested in the events to watch it.

When the market crashes, the rich are the ones who can still afford to buy stocks/businesses/property/etc at a significant discount. When things then go back up they've increased their wealth dramatically. Makes you wonder if the market is being deliberately crushed...
