#21 we really messed up with the naming convention. Rounded “C-shape” snout should be a croc, and the pointed “A-shape” snout should be an alligator. But alas, I am not an animal-naming fancy scientist.

I was less than 10 miles from St. Pete (I was in Oldsmar at the time) and it had yellow eyes! That’s why I thought it was unique. My iPotato didn’t capture the eyes very well. It had at least two different calls as well, but I only captured the one. Neat!

That is seriously impressive! We have muscles to do all sorts of crazy things that we don’t necessarily do anymore. For example, there are all sorts of muscles in the foot that are basically de-evolving because we don’t use them anymore!
It’s usually a cranial nerve issue, not something you can “teach yourself”. I had a patient years ago with a cranial nerve lesion in his left eye, which made it impossible for him to look left in his left eye.

I agree with you! These dogs need jobs to do or else they become destructive & unruly. I own two Malinois, & they are sweethearts. They love me & my family & generally anyone that comes over to our home. However, they are trained to go apeshit if needed. I didn’t “train” them to HURT anybody, but blazing speed & mouthful of sharp teeth is a good deterrent.
