Imagine that horse wearing armour, and an angry dude in armour sitting on top, swinging sword left and right. Then multiply bij a few dozen, charging your way while you are on foot.
Isn't there a legal limit to thread depth over there? No matter what the wear indicators tell you.
Didn't a lot of stuff break? I see some white plastic flying around. Which parts here can be replaced by themselves?
In the video, note the very reddish tint of the sun. She's standing on the east side of the Acropolis (where the Parthanon is), and she's there in the early morning hours. This also explains why there are no tourists. It's too early. A few years back I was there right when the gates opened, got to walk around with about five other people, before the busses came. Lovely experience.

Another Dutchie here. We have had part of our home installation blown up twice during the course of some 15 years. It's rare, but it does happen.

The same person who also brings fishing gear to catch sharks. I don't see how this video is "helping" the shark. It's just catch and release during a fishing session.

I get that in part... but it's still at "showing what's happening", and we have seen so much by now that it's quite clear what is happening. Blatant disregard for the constitution, the law, democracy, human rights, rules of engagement ("war law?"), breakdown of the trias politica, just about every check and balance is being dismantled... shit is moving towards an autocracy (if we are not already there). By now people should have seen more than enough evidence, and start acting.
What I find more disturbing is that people are filming this, and not actually getting up and standing with that marine. At what point does "doing nothing and standing idly by and watching" become being complicit?

Did this in the office once. M&M's, skittles, Reece's, and even found some "mint M&M" to add in there as well. It was glorious.
I judge people on how they treat animals (and cats in particular). This is one well-treated cat <3
In the case of Trump (at least) I'd wager he actually believes he is telling the truth.

I don't believe asking a straight and simple question will get her to answer. She will just keep beating around the bush. And when you call her out on it, she will call you out on something else and make the discussion about that... anything to not answer the questions. Probably the only way to get answers is strap her down, use mild torture/interrogation techniques, and keep her strapped down until you get actual answers, even if it takes days. ... and cut her off at every squirm.

So I wonder. If this person would make a case out of this, would he win? Or is this ICE stuff so horrible that they are more or less free to do whatever they want, without any legal checks and reprimands?(Asking as a non-American living in the EU)
As an oppressed group you will come on top yes, but as an individual... you might be gunned down in front of your children because you protect your home, your castle, because of these idiots with guns who think they can do whatever they want. :(
I wonder how quickly that would escalate terribly. How many ICE will show up, armed and triggerhappy. And one person in a house barring them entry with a weapon. Even if a few agents are shot, they are wearing body armor. Yes, you can make a stand, and a point, but it will be your last probably. Although you might take a few of them with you. I by NO MEANS condone ICE in any way, it's just that they way they behave and are triggerhappy. Armed opposition will make bullets fly all over the place.

I find him very annoying and can't stand the whole gimmicky *slap* talk. A friend of mine is a bassist with ADHD absolutely loves the guy.
Currently reading Maria Ressa's "How to stand up to a dictator" and it's chilling to know where the world is now, a few years after that book was published. The massive influence of Social Media, the blatant abuse of power, etc. It's not getting better. :(
