I do not believe an executive order is enforceable in regards to State elections. The only means by which a President can effectively "create a law" is through executive order. It isnt a LAW, but it can have the same effect. I am not an advocate of Presidential Orders and I am not well versed in the law regarding them, though. (is this what you are asking?)

I do not support anything trump says or does. I go by what the Constitution says. I am not saying Trump has authority to make changes to state elections or federal election laws. The President is entitled to make proposals to Congress, which Congress can accept or reject. i do not think Trump can create by executive order any law regarding election. But Congress will have to be the one to decide to challenge him or not.

Have you even read the Constitution? I studied it. My words are not a question of belief, they a fact. Congress rarely involves itself in State elections but it has the authority to do so. States used to poll taxes and would not allow minorities (women included) to vote. Who do you think changed that? It wasnt the state governments It was the Federal government.
