In a strange way, his election lit a fire underneath the racists of the nation to get engaged in politics even more, and were driven on by the house and senates 'do nothing' stance to block President Obama from achieving little during his time in the white house. Now we feeling the ripple of bigotry, though I feel there's parts of the USA that are seeing how little bigotry helps them (the voter) in any regard.
Think about how much good he could have done if he wasn't blocked by the majority of the house and senate at every turn.
