Brings back memories from my childhood of my grandmother's hands. She worked in a factory making tires, automotive belts, and hoses from WWII through the 1960s. She worked graveyard shift (nights) and always came home with split and cracked hands. The cracks and cuts healed after she retired. But her hands never fully recovered.
Sounds like one of the times our company decided (unofficially, of course) to use the first few costumers as their Beta Test. Late nights hunched over your laptop in a Holiday Inn Express, some-where'sville, trying to figure out why your product just shit the bed. Good times.
