World traveler. Lifetime learner. Humanist.
I read that as "moo-eh-oo-e-suh"
Favorite summit pic is Carihuairazo with chimbo in the background. Chimbo is such a mental marathon, for what ends up being such a non-photogenic summit lol
I did not have Foul Bachelorette Frog on my bingo card today
#42 this is a meme that sounds smart but is really dumb. It plays off the old, outdated definition of what a State is, and is neither a mutually exclusive nor jointly exhaustive definition of terrorism. States can sponsor terrorism. Not all unsanctioned violence is terrorism. The old definition of a State uses the words "monopoly on legitimate use of force" and that's super outdated. Ugh. Needed to get that rant out.
There was ADT active in my home when I bought it. They didn't just argue; they refused to disable or physically uninstall the system. I had to cut it out with wire cutters to get their still active system out of my home.
...Asheville is a blue city in a state with a democratic governor.
This comment was the high point of my morning
An important distinction and a potentially terrible travel mix up lol
Oh man, the responses. This is a pretty normal output to any interagency TTX. That's almost always the finding. If the finding is "Looks good!" then what was the point of the TTX? When it's reality, many of those interagency hurdles get streamlined in a hurry, and exercises like this help everyone involved understand where the hurdles are that will need to go.
My partner and I prefer to watch movies at home so that we CAN talk during them, and occasionally pause them to talk about the science (or lack thereof)
I would like a Pokémon theme parody where all the lyrics are lyrics of other songs in common meter
My interactions with them in recent history have been generally pretty positive, and nothing I found morally challenging. But I definitely get the impression there is a generation gap in their culture between the "good old boys" and the younger folks.
Oh we used to do training on this at work! Where the driver is unable to see and someone else steers them verbally through the woods.
*1 atmosphere of pressure
I have a false positive for meth at every drug test at work. It's a running gag in the office. The guy in the story could just be on meds for adhd.
I saw the first two photos and thought "hell yeah great work" before even realizing there were more photos
Check out his book Integral Trees
FW: I struggle with how much of the author's personal biases influence the telling of the story. Even in the context of the time in which it's written.
#6 the whole bottom row, and two $5 shots at the cantina
One very, very polish word gives it away haha
The first sentence I learned in norway: jeg snakker ikke norsk. Snakker du inglsk?
I came here to make sure someone had made this comment
Oh that reminds me of when... oh. Oh I didn't want to remember that.
I thought it was merrick garland at first
Imagine talking dirty, in bed, formally.
This speaks to me. I was exclusively taught formal Spanish to work with ministers and officials, so even on romantic dates I use usted form on almost everything since it's where I'm more comfortable.
"I move the stars for no one."
I did not expect to see an rpgmaker meme here today. Have my upvote.
American accents are more similar to Old English than modern English accents are. I wish more movies had dialogue written with the care of The VVitch.
