Made me rewatch the Tomb Kings trailer for Total Warhammer 2 again. God, I love that trailer.
Hell, I barely answer regular calls from people I do know. Video calls from strangers is crazy, unless it's like...a content creator thing or something I guess?
"Since this last Mexican family moved in..." my immediate thoughts: "How much weight?" "...I've gained 11 pounds." The war of the waistline is a rapidly losing one, friend. Now I want a churro.
Just watched a few videos, feels like Key & Peele and just as hilarious. Physically well cared for, verbally abused: the perfect livestock life. Also the subtitle game is on point.
#2 Pretty much any time I'm not actively occupied with something else like work, or a video game or book. Mostly because they're infinitely better and more interesting than reality.
Shit, most aren't even trying to lie anymore.
As much of a hellhole as the rest of this place is, Boise at least seems okay. I enjoyed a year or two ago when a law (maybe the same one?) passed to do this, but the assholes behind it were so stupid that they didn't put in any actual consequences or methods of enforcement on it, so Boise just said "we're keeping it up, lol." because nobody could actually legally do anything to stop them. A bit of comedic relief in this mountain of shit.
Didn't notice it the first time, and now my knees hurt just looking, ow.
I was expecting a baseball bat, but a flying Blahaj from the top rope is pretty good.
Don't worry, everyone fucks the snake on their first day. I mean, -look- at it!
At this point I just wish it wasn't so fucking stupid. Like, if it was some kinda Bond movie villain level stuff, people who can speak competently at least, and are grounded in their evilness, I could think "yeah, makes sense how they're able to do this stuff." It'd still be evil, don't get me wrong, but at least it wouldn't be...this. It's that tweet or whatever that's something like "I knew powerful rich people would ruin the world, I just didn't think they'd all be such losers."
In this economy? I don't blame him.
They're legitimately impressive, honestly.
*slips on slippers and struts away*
TEENSY WEENSY?!
So long as it's not Josh, because hearing "Welcome back to Let's Game It Out" would be terrifying. Or wonderfully freeing, now that I think about it.
There is one thing currently: death. And then Facebook will make an AI out of them so that which is dead may never die, while the grifters weekend at bernies them to vote.
#45 I know it was probably said seriously, but that's a great joke. I read it in my head in my most Monty Python-esque British voice. Just a quick one-off line to segue into another segment.
Holy shit, I took some severe psychic damage at 15. I legitimately recoiled from the screen after I read that. What. I guess sheer incredible stupidity was enough of a break from the regular sheer stupidity and evil of everything else to actually affect me.
"...it's a fucKING SCARECROW AGAIN!"
"THE ONLY GOOD GOBLIN IS A DEAD GOBLIN, NOW LET'S MAKE THESE GOBLINS GOOOOOD!"
"Leave zat be. No one vill deny vat ve did." He may have been a crazy Nazi asshole who was upfront about being a crazy Nazi asshole, but at least his death was recorded so the Queen could fall asleep to it every night.
It is truly a never ending nightmare in this state. Stay away at all costs.
Probably multiple takes, but I like to imagine he just nails it on the first try every time. Much like he nails...unlocking locked locks.
"False Vacuum Decay Gwen!"
"Our true king will show them - we do not serve. We RULE!" the Total Warhammer 2 trailer for the Tomb Kings has lived rent free in my head since I first saw it. My favorite faction, though Ikit Claw's Clan Skryre is a close second. For TK, Khalida specifically, since she's so tuned to archers.
So a win-win, then?
The only April Fools things I like are the obvious joke videos that folks like Fascinating Horror or Lockpicking Lawyer put out on YouTube. FH just covers a random disaster movie, but makes it into a video like one of their regular disaster documentary ones, whereas LL goes full straight-faced (voiced?) innuendo for a video.
This state is a never-ending nightmare. Pretty to look at, awful to exist in.
Everything Everywhere All At Once was a fantastically wild movie.
