The company I work for hired a new CEO for $85 million while also firing about 7000 corporate employees to replace a fraction of them with wildly untrained contractors from the Philippines and India, closing hundreds of physical locations and promising $6 million in bonuses to C-suite execs if we hit financial goals :)
I've been a contractor for 7 years. The company I'm signed with has repeatedly lied, tried to manipulate me, blatantly screwed me over, subtly threatened me, is currently trying to make me take a full-time position with them for $25k less salary, and forced me to take a pay cut to "save the client money in uncertain economic times". The client in question is a multi-billion dollar megacorp. I can't leave because my knowledge is so niche and proprietary I'm useless anywhere else.
I like his other one where an abuelita forced him to eat chimichangas and take a tray of them home with him when his wife had already made dinner and she got mad at him.
Okay well then if people would watch Interstellar they'd know Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is trash.

One of the ones I remember the most was that he got called out to a factory in another state because every Friday at 5pm the servers would go down and they couldn't figure out why. He flies down there and just stands on the factory floor near the server room and at 5pm, here comes the maintenance guy. He walks to a breaker box near the server room and turns off a breaker to work on machines and, you guessed it, the server room goes down.

As someone who has worked in retail for 10 years and IT for 7 years, this kind of behavior is not new, unfortunately. People LOVE to shit on the help when they personally decide they feel small. This is a great example of a small person.
