I wasn't quite at the point of making wild animal noises but it was close. Just laying in bed was excruciating until I got some steroids and colchicine.
The initial trigger for it was probably a diuretics I was on that I no longer take.
I get it in my left foot. Took a little while to diagnose because it wasn't in the usual spot. My first flair up was absolutely awful. I couldn't move my leg or brush against my foot at all without like 9/10 or 10/10 pain. So painful I could barely get around on crutches. Right now I'm on colchicine and am mostly stable. Doctor decided against allopurinol because I take azathioprine. Eating too much steak is about the only thing I've noticed that causes a flair up.
#35 that would just put me in the mood even quicker.
