It was in 7 WTC, which also collapsed due to damage and fire from the collapse of the towers.

But also the location was just a large intact space near ground zero so it was used for other purposes as needed - apparently FDNY was on the 2nd floor and it was used as an as an infirmary at some point as well.

This is incorrect on two counts. Giza pyramids are aligned with true, not magnetic, north within about .05 degrees, which we can easily do.
