You may now kiss... the floor. Sorry it was necessary. And congratulations!
If kids can read the word fuck they've already heard it dozens of times and there's a good chance they even have an inkling what it means. Shielding kids from profanity (and definitions/context) until they reach an age appropriate to understand is really impossible. It was impossible in my own youth and I came up decades before the internet.
jfc. I'm sorry you experienced this.
Anyhow I'm relieved to hear your family members weren't on that bus!
There was definitely at least a gate down on the eastbound lane. Photos taken immediately following the incident show it in the down position. After the tracks were cleared, a news crew was on the scene at that xing, and the signals and gates appeared fully operational. Additional reports say that the train also had video confirming that fact. The driver ran the signal and got stuck on the track behind traffic. All the kids said so.
Here you can see the eastbound gate is fully down. Having a hard time finding a photo of the westbound gate, but I assume if she raced the signals, it dropped behind her.
This Xing has gates (photo). Reportedly, the driver ignore the signals and tried to beat the gate drop.
I stepped on a mowed tree shoot once that went through the sole of my shoe and into my big toe. I went to the ER and had it all "cleaned out" and a tetanus booster. My toe was sore for a couple weeks, but it healed. Two years later, I had a dark bump appear on the top of my toe that started to itch. I scratched it and a half-inch long chunk of wood popped out. Traveled all the way through the middle of my toe. I have no idea how it missed all the bone and tendon.

Boris won't remember any of the lecture in the morning, sadly. But he might remember the lesson.
Basically, yes. It scorches the shape of the shoe surface into the hoof wall so it fits snugly. It sanitizes the area and prevents shoe loss by closing gaps that can cause issues like rot and infection, snagging/pulling, weakening or cracking of the hoof wall.
My bad. The compression artifacts made it look like AI.
Bad news. This is AI.
I ain't here to stop ya, sonny.
It's a slur. From the incel/manosphere/redpill universe.
And calls women "foids".
Most consumed meats then were bacon, chicken, cold cuts, ham, pork chops, frankfurters, hamburger, roast beef. Average price was around 40c per pound for budget meats. Looks like she has about 7-8 lbs, so probably 3-4 dollars on cuts alone. Todays prices for the same cuts would be about 10-12x that. Today's meat servings are substantially larger than what her family would have eaten.
Those people are only parroting what their leaders are telling them: that everything wrong with America is caused by a societal system. The administration doesn't actually give a shit about any of that. They just want to be able to shut down all social agencies and re-funnel that money toward their own Grand Grift. Not to mention the establishment of a dictatorship that only they can profit from.
Always nice to see Dillahunty on imgur.
The "sleep in your own bed" loophole.

Even when you know they're big, it's hard to wrap your head around just how big until you see one. Driving down a dark road, we saw oncoming headlights flickering as if something were crossing the road between us. We slowed, and soon realized it was a moose. We could still see the headlights of oncoming traffic UNDER him, between his legs.
You call it "cultural ignorance", but it's just adaptation. We've developed our own traditions based on what our friends and neighbors enjoy, and the ingredients that are available to us. It's not disrespectful even though you clearly see it that way.
Green beer is just a stupid bar promotion thing to get college kids to spend money one day a year. Few people actually drink it. Most Irish Americans don't eat pudding at Christmas or lamb at Easter, either (despite tradition). We eat food from other cultures here, as well as making our own revolting concoctions. >
Most of us know it's not a traditional dish from Ireland. There are 30 million Irish Americans who celebrate St Patrick's Day. Very little of how people celebrate the day in the US has anything to do with traditional Irish culture, including eating about 40 million pounds of corned beef in March. We kinda do our own thing here. Not trying to be disrespectful, it's just the way we are. New land, new "traditions". We are well aware that our adaptations annoy our roots from around the world.
She was only convicted two days ago. She hasn't even been sentenced yet. So yeah, the "story" is a few years old, but the trial just ended.
I usually eat with the other end. But seriously, I agree. I got these because they look cool. They're less annoying than they look though.
It is. "Celtic" is actually the name of the pattern.
