Replacement cost of "they can't actually make more of these."

He would have gotten absolutely bodied. It would have been his first time running in a seriously contested general election, the GOP had a foot-thick anti-Bernie playbook ready to go, his choices in campaign staff were awful (even if we suppose he fixes after the primary, that would be a serious weakness in itself), and his core supporters have a bad habit of not showing up to elections.

This website is not beating the Dead Internet Theory allegations.

That version polled badly, so they had to retcon it to market the religion to a wider audience.

Then take it up with Matt Novak.

Here, have a transcript.

#38: a skeet from Matt Novak, reading: "AI folks have now discovered "thinking"." A screenshot is attached, showing a tweet from Steph Smith describing the phenomenon of "rubber ducking" (with ChatGPT standing in for the rubber duck).

Did you read the image?

Did you forget what the image was by the time you got to my comment? Is this website so stupid that we have to preemptively explain jokes?

Fine: image #38 shows a skeet by Matt Novak, saying "AI folks have now discovered "thinking"." In fact, "AI folks" already know what "thinking" is. However, Novak is responding to a known phenomenon ("rubber ducking"), of which he appears ignorant. Thus, "AI haters have discovered "rubber ducking"" is a humorous twist on Novak's skeet.

Is this better?

...yes, obviously I was poking at the absurd claim, made in the image itself, that "AI folks have now discovered "thinking"." What else could I possibly have meant?

#38: correction: AI haters have discovered rubber ducking

So really, it's AI haters that have discovered rubber ducking.

Yes! One of the best parts of living in that area.

#27 No, we get what you're trying to do. We're just saying it's stupid. When your criticism boils down to "omg we have to pay to be alive, capitalism is so unfair," it falls flat, because the only alternative to that paradigm is "die." Living has always been very expensive - for the vast majority of history, much more so than it is now.

You aren't advocating for any actually-existing political system. You just want to be 10 again and have Mommy and Daddy pay for everything.

If you click on the username, you can see other things they've posted. The person who posted this (ComradeBinch) has also posted a bunch of stuff complaining about aid to Ukraine. (This is pretty common behavior for commies.)

Because they don't want to have context. The purpose of this post is not to present evidence or argue for a position, but to demonstrate the poster's devotion to (and thus status aboard) the "exterminate Israel" bandwagon. You let people start asking for context, next thing you know they'll have nuance, and facts, and serious historiography on your nice, simplified, load-bearing stories, and then they might decide that waging holy war against Israel is actually bad. Can't have that.

Mearshimer is an idiot who thinks Ukraine should roll over and let Putin reassemble the Russian Empire. Taking him seriously should discredit the entirety of your movement.

Both the Aurea Lupus & the Hibikaze are no longer accessible on BrickLink Studio Gallery - the pages still exist, but the instructions & files are gone. Do you know anywhere else one could find them - or, failing that, do you still have the files yourself?

Is your understanding of military science so crude that you think nukes are the only option for wide-scale destruction? Israel has a modern military that has repeatedly wiped the floor with the combined forces of all its neighbors. A conventional area bombing campaign - the "indiscriminate" bombing you like to accuse Israel of doing - would in fact leave the Gaza Strip entirely depopulated.

You don't know what "war crimes" are.

I can cite abundant documentation of Palestinians calling explicit extermination of all Jews. Non-Jewish Arabs make up ~20% of Israel's population, and have the same rights as any Israeli - they have representation in the Knesset and a seat on the Supreme Court. So that last claim is just pure antisemitism.

I am. You aren't. There is no reliable evidence to support the claim that "Gaza is 65% destroyed," no matter how you twist the definition of "destroyed." The "refugee camps" are just normal cities at this point. When Hamas puts its military inside those cities, they become military targets.

No, they aren't. They aren't even beating Dresden for casualties, let alone buildings.

Ah, the George Washington mix.

Pre-10/7, Israel could, at any time, reduce the population of the Gaza Strip to zero unilaterally. It has had this capability for decades. Accusing Israel of "trying to create a Final Solution" isn't just antisemitic blood libel - it's delusional.

...no. That only *starts* to be true in Western Europe after the Black Death wipes out a statistically significant chunk of the population, and even then it's just replaced with slightly less abusive forms of open-field agriculture. In Eastern Europe, serfdom stuck around until the mid-19th century.

And if someone told you their diets were "fairly rich in meat," they're either lying or a rabbit.

The argument is "You have less *free time* than a medieval peasant."

Medieval peasants could not travel without permission. They did not own their land. Virtually all were illiterate. Most died of medical conditions we now consider trivial. They had few to no legal rights or other protections against the whim of any given member of the upper classes.

It doesn't matter if they had 150 days of work a year, or 365, or 0. None of those days were "free."
