Memories for days....thx. Were you at Pine Tree's beach looking down towards the Pavilion?

I just used this to show my kids what not to do. Top question: "Is his hand going to be replaced with a robot hand?"

I think it will be 'Homage to Catalonia' -> Animal Farm-> 1984 while most of us feel like we are stuck in 'Down and Out in London and Paris'

I can dig this and I will look further into it. Still putting more credence to my point of view but that could change.

birth Homo Sapiens babies because they had not evolved the hips needed.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A female or male hybrid will still receive it's mitochondria from the mother. I think it's a head size to hips issue. Neanderthal couldn't

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Think about it like this folks. Do you think a Neanderthal woman could birth a hybrid Homo Sapiens child?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why don't we find any Neanderthal common mitochondria in any modern or ancient post Neanderthal populations?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

It really is. But we would have a more recent common mitochondrial ancestor if we had any Neanderthal female lines.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And how is mitochondrial DNA passed down from generation to generation in eukaryote species?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

All Neanderthal genes are from male lines. Mitochondrial Eve existed before Homo Sapiens decimated the Neanderthal.

When John Wilkins proposed the first metric system in 1668 that a pendulum with a beat of one second and that the length of that was a meter

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

a second is the ceasium frequency. A meter is the distance a photon travels in a vacuum in 1/299792458 seconds.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We accept the caesium frequency as the uniform measure of time. We are two steps away....

It's bullshit that any active duty member issues a political opinion from their position. George Marshal would be rolling over in his grave

I don't believe I chose the venue for this conversation. If you need to hear it again go ahead and read it again...Maybe outloud.

as an American you're voting for trump. As a Senior Chief you're keeping your mouth shut about politics.
