We had a pool growing up, but parents decided it was too expensive after a couple of years, and it totally was. So it got emptied and became a storage pit. Last year I bought the house, full price, and it is now in use again for my kids. I am in no way rich but I have worked hard and saved money for a decade to be able to do this. Well worth it
